I know stating that last year was incredible is sort of obvious, but it deserves repeating.
I was doing a recap in my head, and holy shit, there were a lot of years where we would have spent the entire offseason talking about this:
for reference:
I remember being in denial one offseason with everyone else and all we did was talk about that tip in
Back to 2025-26, I barely remember Bridges' game winner because so much better shit happened

So true. Totally forgot about the Bridges buzzer-beater, while that David Lee one remains a clear memory. I also loved Lee’s career with the Knicks. It doesn’t get enough recognition simply because of the era he played with the Knicks. He would have been an awesome complimentary player to Brunson. This sort of play was the highlight of a bad few years.

Loved David Lee. It feels so strange not worrying about lottery picks and free agents. Now we talk about title defense. I remember when the draft and draft lottery were the highlights of the offseason.lol

Shit, that DLee tip in turns 20 this year!
It's been a fun ride during the Brunson era. Couldn't catch that Mikal game winner live, but you're right, our regular season moments have paled in comparison to what this team has done recently, even if they've been fun in their own right.
The last two Christmas Day games stand out, Christmas Bridges vs. Spurs and the big 4th Q comeback vs. Cavs (foreshadowing). The NBA cup was a special moment, our first taste with a trophy ceremony in forever.
One of my favorites is Brunson getting knocked down by Nembhard in the closing seconds, only to come back and hit the game winner over him.
That first game in Minnesota after the KAT trade was another special one.

Ahh, Jordan Hill. We were one pick away from getting Steph Curry and we ended up with Jordan Hill. lol. Fun times
