"Konch" a utilty type like Josh Hart.
Lets be real, Josh is 31 and Shamet is not an 82 game players Konch not a strong shooter, but can fill roles. on the surface this "feels" like Deuce could be moved.

As for Dadiet? Year three is here. I suppose rookie scale and how that all works will matter more next year. If im his agent I want him playing or moved to a team he can get minutes. Are other teams wanting him as a prospect? Are knicks still committed to develpiing him? He turned 21 this past summer.
Summer league we wanted him to "Dominate". While that would have been great it almost seemed like he was instructed go to the rim more and more. The Shot is there. ITs creating space and a threat to penetrate is a part of that. At (Listed) 6-9 he has the length.
Maybe Diawa extension blocks a path for him? I see mo more as a PF in the future with Dadiet as a 2 or 3. That future? I have no idea its with the knicks.

Definitely seems like Konchar only makes sense with a rebalancing trade, right?

I don't expect he'd wrestle minutes away from Shamet or Clarkson (who's already on the fringe). We also have Nickel, who hopefully shows a fraction of the high hopes everyone's already placed on him.

Every time I get my hopes up on Dadiet, he's disappointed. Wouldn't be surprised if he's moved, but it doesn't open any up minutes. Really feels like Deuce will be a casualty.

They could/ should move Dadiet and sign them both plus Nickel to get to 15. Maybe they don’t have quite enough space now but they can make it work with delayed guarantees and such.

Both Konchar and Eubanks are proven rotation level NBA vets so good insurance to have during a long season.

Bruce Brown is the best player of the bunch, including Konchar, but we do need that 3rd Center on the roster so the battle between Eubanks, Wiseman and Robbins will be key in training camp and preseason.
