Knicks · Hang your ass how many victories this season (page 1)

JesseDark @ 10/14/2026 11:14 AM
We are still in the glow of our championship, and the season is less than a week away how many victories do you see?
I think we are first in the division with 52 wins. Since teams are no longer rewarded for tanking the bottom teams will be more competitive.
SergioNYK @ 10/14/2026 2:38 PM
I'll go with 55 as long as our core stays healthy.
Alpha1971 @ 10/14/2026 3:09 PM
52
ToddTT @ 10/14/2026 4:41 PM
$52.01
ramtour420 @ 10/14/2026 6:53 PM
It's gotta be around 55 ish
martin @ 10/14/2026 8:13 PM
Double nickel!
Nalod @ 10/14/2026 11:38 PM
60
Panos @ 10/15/2026 10:27 AM
Even though I'm a pessimist by nature, I always overshoot on my wins prediction. Last year they won 53. So the question is will they win more or less than last year. Its a really tough question. Which team will show up? Really the question is: which KAT will show up? Frankly, I think its a little sickening that all the media is talking about is his extension when in reality, he's not a free agent for 2 more years. Cry me a river KAT. He's already making more than JB and JB is the heart and soul of the team, and NBA Finals MVP. So the question is, is KAT going to be a whiny bitch all season because of this crap? Obviously, we don't have the answer.
I also think while steady, Drummond will not be an impact player like Mitch. (Though I'll scream at the screen less with the FT situation).
I'm going to go slightly under last year's total and just say 52. Hope I'm wrong and super-KAT shows up and they win 60.
Knixkik @ 10/15/2026 11:44 AM
50. East will be more competitive in the middle and Knicks will coast a bit.
Chandler @ 10/15/2026 5:53 PM
not changing my signature! I'll roll with that
MaTT4281 @ 10/15/2026 7:19 PM
56, and won't be surprised if that's after a slower start.
NYKBocker @ 10/16/2026 4:54 PM
57 wins
Repeat Champs
ToddTT @ 10/16/2026 8:08 PM
ChatGPT says these are the current over-unders in the east.

I think the 76ers are getting too much credit. Do they even have a center?

Paul George breaks a hip and the Celtics drop.

Indiana finishes higher in this list.

49 Wins and not the top spot in the East (more like 4th or 5th). Many fans will freak out about this drop from last season - but the real culprit will be that Brown will take the pedal off the metal during the season in order to try and keep his core players healthier and fresher for the post season. With that in mind - Knicks will progress to the Finals - and this time go to game 7 against the Spurs. I'll keep it there with a cliff-hanger and pick it up again when/if we get there.

I’m going 56 wins this year. We have talent, continuity and the second season under our head coach but every team is going to be gunning for us and bringing their best. Gootta beat the champs to be the champs

interesting take. I could see Brown giving Diawa and Dadiet minutes if they evolving which could result in less wins but the are in because core guys are injured.

If he wants to strike fear in the hearts of opponenents the new hair band he sporting with his long locks won't do it. Dude should buzz cut it and get a tattoo of a tiger fucking a bear. Not like the guy is going to be on Weaties box any time soon or on Seasame Street.
