I noticed that I don't mind Kobe Bryant. It's his big dopey partner Shaq whom made me hate the team. I admire Kobe and his on the court display. But the "big guy" is what made me hate the Lakers. I do not hate the Lakers as much, but I do hate the Heat BECAUSE of Shaquille O'Neal. Just a thought thats been bothering me, thats all. His cocky and arrogant attitude.
Wow, I'm more or less the opposite. The main reason I hate the Lakers is because of Kobe.
"His ****y and arrogant attitude" is the same arguement I'm going to use. Very talented player...but I can't stand him as a human being. It gets under my skin that little kids look to him as a role model or their hero.
How can you hate on Shaq and have respect for Kobe? Shaq is the man. Kobe is nothing without him.
I'm in the Shaq is a more decent human being than Kobe camp.

i'm witcha man. i've always had the urge to step on shaq's bad toe. can't stand him. unfortunately, kobe's put himself in the same position w/everyone else.
I Love Shaq, but think he is a hypocrit. Hated how he waited on having surgery and frankly he's been out of shape for yrs. Amaziong how someone belessed with such size incombination with his agility and athleticism still is a one trick pony, dominant as hell trick pony, but he coulda been much more and have been at the top of the HOF.
I hate Kobe, better said I despise Kobe. He doesn't take off nights though and plays hard as if he's all alone on the court which is again his problem.
Combined was a reason to absolutely hate the fakers.
I don't like either of them to be honest, but I have to give the slight edge to Shaq, b/c at least he's all about the team. But both of them are prima donnas (Sp?) and both are very very arrogant. Same thing. Shaq has the intelligence of a Stegosaurs and Kobe thinks he's bigger than Jupiter, despite everything. I can't stand either of them but at least, when it comes to basketball, Shaq is the team player and knows what he's talking about there. That's all that matters.

Kobe has to be the most selfish player I have ever seen. He took 30 shoots last night, 30!!!!!!
I wish there were a statistician that could tell you how much he has the ball per game it has got to be close to 80% of the team the lakers have the ball whne he is on the court.
He is the complete opposite of a team player. The fact that he is one of the NBA's most talented players makes this tolerable to many fans, but I hate to see him play like that at the expense of his teammates and team.
Basketball is a team sport and I am glad the lakers lost with Kobe playing like that.
