i knew this would happen, and j kidd is shell of himself right now. they had 3 nice draft picks and couldve had nice cap room if they dumped j kidd at the right time--maybe sprewell and cassell? whatever. the nets fcd up. you cant base your franchise on two gimps, lets be honest as knick fans we almost expect h2O to get hurt again and you know you are watching grant hill every time he falls down he looked a little gimpy himself tonight.
at the end of the eason--no NJ playoffs.
Vince Carter made his first appearance as a Net on Monday night and it resulted in another injury for him. Carter left the in game with 2:13 left in overtime because of sever cramping in his left hamstring.
Before leaving, he played 41 minutes off the bench and contributed 23 points, five assists, and three steals.All this he did after being off 3 for weeks.
Views: After the game, Vince said he will not miss any time because of the cramps. He made a good first impression with his new team tonight.
Briggs you watch ESPN too much, a cramp is a cramp.

The Net trainer should be fired! He forgot to remind "Half Man/Half a Season" to take his Midol.
Looks to me that all that hating made VC shut up a lot of people tonight. Briggs starting rumors that wasn't true and his clones chimed in right behind him. The Majority is was wrong here.:)
I still wish we had him instead of Mr Chucker, at least with the new rule changes VC will go to the hole and live on the free throw line.
That is a no brainer trade Zeke blew it.

If you would read the thread Rich, we are talking about his leg(hamstring) being damaged again. Any ways THE GUY PLAYED WELL LAST NIGHT.
He could have been our other low post presence on a team that desperatley needs it.
A 1-1 record with Carter is nothing to brag about. A four point win against the Bulls is definitely nothing to brag about either.

With Jabbari Smith and Kristic in the post for the nets and bulls winning the last 3 0ut 0f 4 games including beating Detroit at home I say this means more than you would be able to give credit to.
nobody said Vince isnt good (when he wants to be or actually plays). The guy breaks down 2-3 times a year at least.

I'm sure Vince will have some monster games, he's an all star after all. I'm also sure he will land on IR again... Nets just hope it isnt in April/May
