I saw the game last night and not only is Vince nj best player, if he came to the knicks he would be an A-1 best player.
Wow, his 9-23 night against an awful team really impressed you

I sense a "curious Buzz" even with Knick fans over the Vince trade.

Don't think it has not helped them sell some tickets?

I fell asleep on it and was suprised they pulled it off. Kidds stats suck of late, but he is in there battling and scraping his team!

I for one are happy to see a strong NEt-Knick Rivalry! It is fun to watch. Beating down a bad team is no fun!

The NY Nets is OK by me, Im glad for brooklyn, glad for the city that we got two teams! It was never right they went to freaking New Freaking Jersey in the first place. I hoped they could get Telfair in some three way from the Blazers. The cousins battling it out to be prince of NY is good drama!

Would a Eastern Conference Final between those two not be a cool thing to watch?

Remember, competition is a good thing!

I saw the whole game and I didn't see anything but a solid player. He missed a lot of makeable shots and struggled to fit into the office. He obviously has alot of skills, but I don't agree with that statement at all.

Steph gets others involved. Vince just takes alot of shots and makes some really tough shots, but A1 best player. That is a reach. Don't pull a muscle.

Krstic was 24th overall (late first round) and the only reason he fell that low was because everyone knew he wasnt coming to the US for at least a year, maybe more. Good patience on Thorn's part to draft for talent, even if he had to wait.

Krstic is like Joe Smith. Very long, active, nice moves, smooth to watch. Tends to disappear at times but he's young. Isnt really aggressive away from the ball but he's going to be a good player. Nice skills and size

Nets wouldve lost that game if they didnt call that ticky tack foul on BG. BG was WAY to fast for anyone on the Nets to handle.
fishmike @ 12/29/2004 4:40 PM
not to fast for VC.. he's A-1

Vince is a top of the line player imo. He's got insane range on his shot. His injuries are not catastrophic at this time although they are due to no one's fault but his own. At 27 years old the definition in his arms and legs does not match his peers (i.e. Kobe, Tracy etc.) and I think that's why he gets the nagging injuries. He'd be as good or better than both if he started serious training year round. Jordan, Pippen and of course Dr. J. are the prime examples of highly athletic swingmen who kept themselves in prime condition. I got a hunch that Vince becoming a citizen of the US now will change his body fat trend. Just a thought.

I agree whole heartely on your post. VC is a special player and will only get better as the season goes on and he gets more familiar with his teamates.

If he would go on a work out routine and worked on his handle more he would be unstoppable like Kobe Bryant.
