NBA · OT- anyone see Bogut tonight against San Antonio? (page 1)

franco12 @ 12/20/2005 10:53 PM
just had the game winner with .7 secs on a great play- he is certainly starting to come into his own-

some players take a bit longer to adjust to the pro game...
McK1 @ 12/20/2005 10:56 PM
just about to post about it. Great fucking catch and shot. Watched from midway thru the 3rd on. For a 20 yr old Boguts post defense and board work is amazing.

No way you take Frye over him.
NYK3 @ 12/20/2005 10:57 PM
if Bogut was on the Knicks right now we'd all be calling for his head
Knight @ 12/20/2005 10:57 PM
I've been watching the gamecast, to me it looked like Bogut was huge down the stretch--blocking shots, drawing a charge on Duncan, getting offensive boards and putbacks...he does those things that makes your team a winner.

lemme guess, the 3 is for Marbury...

if Bogut was on NY right now, we'd still have next years no. 1 and a better record frankly b/c we'd have him every night. "Crutch" Curry has already missed 7 of 23 games and is about to make it 7 of 24.

He was huge for them- held duncan in check for most of the 4th

I'm not surprised. I love Bogut and I think everyone on this board knows it by now. Frye has been great and I happy we have him but Bogut has some serious game waiting to be unleashed.

I wish our team could have scenes like this...

that play was funny, rasho is the worst center in the league, he never jumped at all.. LOL

Bogut got a lot of tip ins tonight, the guy doesn't seem like a offensive player, he has no offensive moves or go to shot... He is like dan Gadzurich, a little better, better head, and hands, slightly, but so far he is playing like a gadzurich type of player.... I guess that is not all that bad..

that is for sure.. It is amazing the guy has really been very average, yet he gets hailed on here as the next kareem... that is hillarious, honestly when we play the bucks, Dan GAdzuric worries me more than him... BTW TD fouled out in OT on some bogus call on mo williams, had he been in the game, that play never happens....
Knight @ 12/21/2005 12:12 AM
Gadzuric is 7 years older than Bogut...I'm pretty sure Bogut will improve a little bit in 7 years. As far as a go to move, how many players had a go to move in their rookie season? Marbury doesn't even have a go to move.

...as if scoring is the only way to win games for your team.

such hating is sad

exactly Gadzuric wasn't averaging 8pts, 7rebs & 1blk in only 26mins as a rookie. Bogut is easily becoming my favorite player behind Duncan both of them hooked up my fantasy bball team today!

OK, so I guess we are not out of line by saying that Frye is going to be a superstar, because most of you guys are going gaga over a guy with very modest stats, if someone says frye reminds them of a young duncan, this board goes bannanas, and fyre stats are more impressive than that... I refrenced Gadzurich not to say that Bogut will be no better, I am saying right now his game is very similar, slightly better but very similar..

Rich @ 12/21/2005 12:53 AM
Why does he wear that mask?
McK1 @ 12/21/2005 12:53 AM
broken nose
Rich @ 12/21/2005 12:55 AM
