So I quit my job today, & it feels damn good. Just could not take the bullshit anymore.
Word of advise for any job seekers out there, DO NOT work for a female boss with
hyper-sensitive power/control issues and anal retentive tendencies. She'll make your life
a living Hell, especially if you're the only guy she's in charge of. Hey, newsflash,
I don't jump through hoops for anyone, especially for someone with no design talent
whatsoever that has zero idea how to effectively manage personnel. 'Hope she has fun
releasing all those jobs that are about to be piled up on her desk. I'm sure she's gonna
love working all those overtime hours just like I did.
Marv @ 4/3/2007 2:44 PM
right on brother!

now finally you'll have enough time to get your post count up on this board!
TMS @ 4/3/2007 2:46 PM
maybe Isiah will hire me as a PR consultant... God knows he could use some help in that area.
EnySpree @ 4/3/2007 3:54 PM
Good for you. I wish I could quit my job and sell crack full-time.

You gonna be ok though, tms?
TMS @ 4/3/2007 3:56 PM

islesfan @ 4/3/2007 3:58 PM

Solace @ 4/3/2007 4:13 PM
Hey TMS, congrats, I think. Good for you to stand up for yourself, but are you sure it was wise to quit before having another job lined up? I guess if you have some finances to support you in the meantime, it's fine. Anyway, best of luck. It sounds like you're satisfied with your decision, so sounds like it was the right move. Anyway, good luck and if there's anything I can do to help, let me know.

TMS: I do HR consulting and work with HR departments throughout the East Coast. Fire up a resume to dbrown@commonwealth.com and I'll send it out to everyone I know. Also any questions, advice etc. Between all of us here I'm sure we can find you a couple leads. Even if that lead means mopping out a mcdonald's for a living, who are you to be picky, you don't have a job :).

TMS @ 4/3/2007 5:00 PM

TMS: Come on guy, you should know that I provide nothing but the best for those that I know. Of course they would provide the mop. They have plenty of extra mops. I think the rate for renting the mops is only about $3 a day too. Nothing but the best for my friends.

Thanks Bip, any help is good help. I appreciate it.

TMS. No worries bro, just the offer from you was enough in my book, I appreciated it. The important thing is that you now have more time to watch the Knicks make their playoff push!!
