The contract gives me the willies as its 9 years. He earned it. Hope it don’t crush him.
Its a luxury to have Yankee money to surround him with power. To have Stanton a few more years is incredible if they keep him.
That said, its not easy to find a player that defines an era or can be in enshrined with a monument.
