i agree... having Gardner try to steal was the right move, Scioscia just outsmarted us w/the pitch out... it happens.

good thing we still got Bobby Abreu on our side tho.

BTW, Gardner is a better hitter than Hairston, so I don't get the pinch hitting

Girardi obviously wants to go w/the more experienced hitter... plus he came through for him in a big spot in game 2... sometimes u go w/a hunch too... Torre did that alot as our mgr over the years

I generally prefer the better hitter.
