i feel kinda bad for the guy... he's an idiot but i don't think he has bad intentions... i felt angry at Shockey when he acted like a baby & demanded a trade cuz it showed me he didn't care at all about winning, but Plax i have some pity for... he played injured all last year & except for being late to meetings & whatnot he gives it his all whenever he takes the field... just a really stupid choice on his part to take a loaded handgun into a club but LT was guilty of doing some really stupid things in his time too & i'm pretty sure all of us gave him a pass for his transgressions.
Plax played hard on the field which does mean something. I think all the extra-curricular crap that he pulled started to wear on the team though. Just the fact that Plax felt he could do all that stuff shows me he didn't really care about his teammates all that much and that he was more concerned with doing what he wanted to do.
the worst part of this whole thing is that he may have unintentionally dragged a teammate into this mess, a very key teammate at that... i hope nothing happens w/Pierce.
I think he's done in the NFL- I'll always remember 2007, but he really wasted his talent.
if Michael Vick ever plays again i think Plax will also... someone's gonna take a chance on him... that is if he's not spending the next 7 years in jail that is.

Even with the required 3 1/2 years in Jail he's gonna be 35+ after he gets out. And who knows it what kind of shape. Someone may give him a shot, but who knows if he'll be motivated to stick in the NFL at that advanced age with as much inactivity.
I think he's pretty much done. I wish I could be more sentimental, b/c I obviously got great enjoyment from watching him as a player, but to watch him throw it all away for such a large amount of stupidity just doesn't leave me feeling sorry for him at all, and reminds me more of the times when he frustrated me instead.
how goes the penalty work? is it a mandatory sentence of 3.5 years if convicted but can he apply for early parole later? or does he have to serve the full 3.5 years no ifs ands or buts?

From how I've read it, its mandatory 3.5 years with no excuses.
Who knows what these celebrity lawyers can do, but with all the evidence against him (he shot himself for godsakes), I'm not sure he gets past the letter of the law here. It seems pretty firm and the Mayor is out there wanting to make an example of him.
Apparently it's official... they put Plax on the non football injury listed and suspended Plax for the rest of the season to boot. He's officially done as a Giant
so if we lose some receivers to injury, is this gonna end up being the right decision?
from what i understand the case is not until march.
yet, it looks like he would have been out 4-6 weeks anyway.
guess they are concerned the distraction will be too much, and the team has done well enough.

yeah does seem like the Mayor's on a quest to prove something here... Plax probably won't get off easy on this one.
chance to clinch the NFC East today vs. dem dirtybirds... GO G-MEN! BEAT PHILLY!
this game should be 10-3 right now... Hixon dropped a gimme bomb pass right into his hands in full stride w/nothing but a clear path to the end zone in front of him & then we get a blocked FG off a guy jumping over the long snapper... defense is holding the fort right now but the longer this game goes w/o us scoring the more confidence this damn dirty bird team is gonna gain... we need to put up some damn points already!
DAMMIT! Westbrooke scores on a TD... where was the tackling on that one??? 10-0 dirty birds... GET YOUR HEADS STRAIGHT G-MEN!!!
Pierce w/2 bad penalties to give Philly a shot to score at the end of the half... come on dude... be smarter than that!
10-7 looks a WHOLE lot better than 13-0... whew!
Man that was amazing! Talk about timing - just dragged my butt out of bed and turned on the game with 45 seconds in the half.
Giants have all the momentum going into the second half. Let's close this out right!
Philly's been outplaying us all day bro... that was a lucky bounce & we definitely needed it... let's hope the real G-Men show up in the 2nd half.
Special Teams are saving our asses today... another blocked FG... still 10-7... Giants Offense, time to step up!
damn, Juggernaut's down for the count... looks like he sprained his knee from the looks of it... hope it's not as serious as i think it is.
good sh_t, Jacobs is on his feet on the sidelines.
