Cardinals had an awesome last drive. That was some championship level guts to be able to respond to that huge Eagle comeback.
sure was... that drive reminded me of Eli's SB winning drive last year... pure guts by Kurt Warner today... Eagles did their best to knock him outta the game but he took every late hit they dished out & bounced back like the champ he is... i hope the Cardinals win the SB this year, the deserve it.
I don't wanna see the Cardinals win, b/c I think if the NFL didn't have its stupid 4 team per division allignment they would've never made the playoffs. But there is no doubt they earned their way through the playoffs by beating 3 good teams convincingly.
Well Eagles lost tonight. So what does that say about the Giants losing to the eagles so early? It says we were wayyyyyyyy under ready for any team. Losing the last games should have said it all and Plax? He was the difference. Thanks a lot plax.
Dom Capers just got the Green Bay defensive coordinator job. As I mentioned before, look for it to be Bill Sheridan.
I heard Gilbride is a finalist for the Oakland job. Blessing in disguise if he leaves.

Giants have officially hired Bill Sheridan to be D.C.

I hope Spags taught him well. I know he's been around the Giants for a while, so let's hope he keeps the same kind of scheme with all the blitzing and whatnot.
hopefully getting back a healthy Osi next year & a new LBer draft pick can help the transition.
Hopefully we can get a WR as well. One that doesn't like to shoot himself would be nice.

we definitely need a premier WR to take Plax's place if he's unable to return, but 1 thing i do know is that after what i witnessed during the Cardinals/Eagles game, i don't think i want any part of Anquan Boldin next season... i mean i know Plax is not exactly innocent of being a selfish player either but at least he's been a part of this franchise & Eli has great chemistry w/him... plus he's not a cancer in the lockerroom either... guys like to play w/him.
Boldin pretty much pulled a Jeremy Shockey/TO stunt by screaming at his OC during the most important game of the season & didn't even take part in the celebration after they'd won the game... i dunno exactly what went down on the sidelines between him & his OC but that is just inexcusable to turn ur back on ur teammates that way in the happiest moment of their NFL lives.
Yeah, I don't want Boldin after that but I don't want Plax back under any circumstance. I don't care who likes him. He was selfish and has been for a long time. His stupidity cost the Giants another possible run to the Super Bowl.
well Jerry Reese seems to like him so that's really the only opinion that matters i guess... personally i hope he comes back cuz we ain't gonna find anyone to replace his skillset next year IMO... sorry, TJ Housh is no Plax.
If you bring him back he will just come back and do the same old shit. He wont learn his lesson that way. Plus he will probably be suspended by the league for an unknown amount of time. He will only be a distraction we don't need. We need to move away from him.
if shooting himself in the leg doesn't teach him a lesson, nothing will... it's not about teaching him a lesson here it's about doing what's best for the team... IMO the team is best when he's on the field.
I do think that a classy organization like the Giants would look out for the best interests of Plaxico. However, I do agree that they realize it's in their best interest to give this guy another shot. His lack of precense was so glaring on this offense, that it was disturbing. If he can stay out of jail, let him have his shot. If Michael Vick can get another shot (Which he will), when he gets out of jail, then Plax can.
I do want Boldin... why'd the Giants get Burress in the first place? Because he pulled selfish crap. I wouldn't mind keeping Plax either. Boldin is one tough son of a bitch and I love that.
What Iw ant more than either of those two though, is for Eli to learn how to throw into the wind... How the fuck do you play in Giants Stadium and not know how to throw into the wind? What the fuck is wrong with you Eli?
Also, I wouldn't mind for Gilbride to get axed. I know he won't, but the reason the giants won last year is because the offense was tailored to each guy's strengths... so what does he do this year? He asks less talented guys to play Plax's role. get real, dude.
The LBs need to be improved too... Pierce wasn't great this year like he was last. He was mediocre. Bryan Kehl may have some potential. Everyone is else ranges from ehhh to bleh. If Kiwi gets moved back to LB, then the giants need another end, because this system apparently really does need depth at DE

i hear Julius Peppers wants out of Carolina but he'd probably cost too much in a trade to be a realistic option.
Julius Peppers wants to play in a 3-4
i think Kiwi needs to stay at DE, he's not a LBer & i've been saying that all along... he does his best work off the LOS.
we need to target an OLB & a MLB for next season because Pierce has lost a step & our OLB's suck.
