Ah I was hoping for 1 out of 3 in Washington but we legitimately should've won all 3 games. Its sad every-time I see Murphy--hes the difference why this team is not 25 games over .500
The Amazings are now in the top wildcard playoff spot. With all of their injuries, this is quite incredible.

easy come easy go
Uggh the wild card game loss is a tough blow after 162 games. We need some table setters next year. Biggest mistake in 10 years letting Murphy go.
Very nice stable of complimentary arms.
Even take Rafael Montero out of the equation here.
Chris Flexen
Merandy Gonzalez
Seth Lugo
Robert Gsellman
Harol Gonzalez
Anthony Kay
Gabriel Ynoa and Zack Wheeler are also part of the conversation.
Some teams just do a good job in developing arms ( Indians, Cardinals, Giants) and the Mets are one of them.
The Mets made a 10 years mistake with Daniel Murphy. I dont care how much pitching a team does or does not have--at some point you need a base hit.
Daniel Murphy carried the Mets to the World Series two years ago with Cespedes--but in the playoffs really without Murphy we were 1 and done.
How do you give up a player like Murphy--who was a drafted Met? We dont have bae hit guys--Conforto? nah Murphy was in his prime and its just sad I have to watch him on a divisional rival
Wow...three year hiatus. Don't worry, a new day coming.
I can’t believe we caught the Yankees
