Btw......that hulk trailer was awesome right? I mentioned it above.
The Hulk looked good but story around Robert Bruce Banner isn't that great. I think the movie will suffer because the plot wont be as good. I think peter parker and batman/bruce wayne have the best plots which is what makes them such great movies.
The Dark Knight looks like it will kick some serious ass. I read on a hollywood blog that Heath Ledger did a phenomenal job as the joker. He was so fully immersed in the roll, he actually became a little unstable in real life as well. A lot people say that had something to do with his untimely death. I also like their casting choice in Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent/Two-face. I'm a big Batman fan and really enjoyed Batman Begins. I was happy when Chris Nolan rescued the doomed franchise from the disaster that was batman and robin with clooney.
I saw it last night my children and it did not dissapoint. Robert Downey Jr is perfect as Tony Stark.

Marvel screwed up all their movies so far......spiderman was cool to see on the big screen but they went ahead and screwed that up. Toby Mcguire is a terrible Spidey. Toby has no personality. Watch "that 70's show" and you will know what I mean. His charecter on that show is spidey. And yo the girl that's playing mary jane? What? She is ugly as hell. She is just so unattractive. Mary Jane is supposed to be one of the most beautiful people on the planet. They should have gotten that red head that's doing dancing with the stars right now. She would have been a perfect jean cuz she is beautiful, slim and shapely, and hilarious. It would have been perfect.
The xmen series was entertaining but they totally fucked the story. They casted storm all wrong, and though hugh jackman played an awesome wolvie, he's too tall and slim. Call me retarded but they should have cast "the Macho man" randy savage to play him. Tell me that wouldn't have been awesome! Btw the girl they got to play jean is too strong of a person to be a weak nieve jean. Just wrong.
DC learned their lesson with the awesome real sequel to the original superman movie and the new batman series casted perfectly by american psycho jason bale. The new one with the joker is gonna be one of the greatest films ever.
Fyi......the new hulk film is gonna be good. They totally trashed the old movie and started new. They have david banner on the run from the goverment like he should be and the hulk is gonna fight the abomination! That fight might be just as good as the neo vs agent in the final matrix movie.
I'm pumped as you can see. Again downey is Iron man....good fanboy movie.
You are right. I never really thought about it, but Toby is a pretty dry personality to play Peter Parker, who even without the spider suit on can be a funny guy.

Sam Jackson is Nick Fury and he tells Tony that he isn't the only super hero and wanted to see if he was interested in the "avenger" iniciative......wtf......that's bad ass man I wish I saw it. I knew it was a matter of time for this all to happen. I think it was a good idea to introduce Shield in the Iron Man movie first. Now that Shield is in the story line, the avengers had to be mentioned. Marvel did it the right way. They just laid the foundation for the climax to come.
If they are gonna do the Hulk right they have to include shield.........the trailer for the incredible Hulk just proves that Marvel is commited to making better movies that are more true to the original story. First off with the Hulk, he was always on the run from the goverment....the regular agencies can't stop him and its completely awesome that Sheild was introduced cuz they were the only ones that could slow him down. Tony Starks tie in is awesome too because of the Hulkbusters. I believe that's his tech. In the trailer they threw that little quote at us fans like"his whole body is practically property of the US goverment." They made sure they put that sound bite in the trailer..........also they hinted that this Hulk may be able to talk. They show The Hulk sitting next to Bruce Banners love intrest.......oh yeah they got Bruce Banner right this time. Just like Downey as Tony Stark, they got it absolutely perfect. The guy just looks, sounds and moves the way I imagined he would as a kid.
I'm extreamly excited about this whole thing. Geeked out.
Eny did you see the Dark Knight trailer also? I am so excited about that flick as well. Too bad Heath Ledger is dead. He looked like a badass Joker.
Dark Knight are you kidding? That movie just might go down as one of the best films of all time! That's how much everyone is buzzing about it. The trailers for the film and the spoiler bank robbery scene shown in the theaters just adds to the energy this film is building up. This may have been Heath Ledgers master piece.....we'll see soon enough.

Yeah so I bought a graphic novel with issues 11-20 in it. After I'm done I'll go cop the rest. They got the Mighty Avengers back with another team. I gotta cop that shit too.......so my broke ass is looking at at least $150 spent on Marvel comics.......thanks to this Iron Man Movie.

I hated DC growing up. Always a Marvel guy. Xmen was my favorites but I read it all. Iron Man, FF, Spidey, Avengers, Thor, Capt A, Dr. Strange, New Mutants, Hulk, SSurfer, Alfa Flight, Daredevil, on an on... Marvel always spent time developing characters and its no wonder they translate into better movies.
I read those comics back in the early 70's. The X is one of my favorites and these movies are great! A lot of people don't get the fact that they are supposed to be like the comics, but then again, a lot of people either didn't or didn't get the opportunity to read them a long time ago either. Can't wait to see Iron Man and your recommendation helps.

yeah, i really got back into comics the past three years with these event books such as the civil war, world war hulk and now the secret invasion. first time since college that i am buying every month a few titles. i love the new avengers since my boy luke cage is in charge. iron man is the main man in comics now since he is in every book. mighty avengers are alright but the new avengers are great with their characters. i love the fact that they added spidey and wolverine to the team.

You took the words right out of my mouth! I never really liked DC, except for their top characters of course. Even then you got so much lightweight stuff back in the 70's when I was a kid. Marvel was so much more hard hitting and in touch. They always had the most unique and interesting story lines.
I waited my whole life to see them do comic movies right. When I was young they did a real crappy Spidey TV series and overall the heroes were always lame. Now my kids and I can enjoy these great movies together and we TOTALLY enjoyed Iron Man. I have a very old set of comics still in good condition and one of them is an old Iron Man which retells how he came to be Iron man. They did a great job of telling that story in a more modern setting.
