Sudden Death Overtime, with a potential Cup winner, should be starting in about 15 minutes on NBC. I highly suggest and recommend watching it. Overtime in the Stanley Cup playoffs is one of the best things in sports. The only thing better is overtime in the Stanley Cup playoffs with a chance for the Cup to be won.

ice hockey is the toughest sport to play.
There are few causual fans. your either "Cult like status" or don't get it.
Few "Stars" these days and not much TV revenue, but they do well at the gate. Terrible TV sport, but best seen in person. football better on TV.
NBA also better in person, but excellent on TV also!

Slight correction:
Hockey is great in Hi-Def. Obviously most things are but hockey especially, probably because it's easier to see the puck. For the novice that makes it difficult but for the more educated fan, you don't always need to see the puck because you're trained to watch the players, positioning and plays developing.
The Cup is the best trophy period. Everyone who wins the Cup gets their name engraved on it and they drink champagne out of it after winning it. That's fucking awesome.
This is an awesome game btw. It's ridiculously intense.

Detroit is really great at clogging up the neutral zone and not allowing the Penguins to set up anything in the offensive end. They need to start dumping and chasing but their forwards are so skilled that they aren't used to that style, they're used to making rushes and passing through the neutral zone.
3rd Overtime should be starting in 5 minutes.
