NICE! I am in on Monday.
Silver I opened my position with 10k shares and have added 700 shares a day for the last 10 days. I am HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY conifident that this stock is going to explode this year. The place you want to be in memory is high end specialty chips and GSI technology is the leader in this niche space. They are in an enviable position with 60mm in the bank--what I believe you will see is very nice top line growth in a tough market and continued profitability along the lines of the last Q. Right now it's selling @ 1/2 the IPO price--it's only a matter of time for this one and with a 14mm share float--watch this thing move to the upside when it hits.
What I would compare this with is SIGMA designs[SIGM]--a stock that went from 3 bucks in the middle of 2004 to over 75$ three years later. This is a really tight nice opportunity to make a great deal of $$$. I never tout any stock unless I feel the advice Im giving is going to pay me well along with anyone who purchases the stock on recommendation
Nice, I will buy some more this week.
Briggs.. are you still high on this?

Thanks Briggs. I saw your post earlier in the week and put some money in my Zecco account, I just wanted to make sure you were right still on this before I go in tomorrow. That earnings report is going to be huge on July 31.
Looks solid, good find and thanks for the tip Briggs.

nyk--just a little update. I've increased my holdings in this company by 16,600 shares over the last 5 weeks for a total of 35k. I'M VERY confident VERY excited. I personally went above a maximum threshold I have for any one stock holding and I believe 110% that we will see HUGE returns here over the time-frame I initially laid out. People are EASILY going to TRIPLE+++ their money from this thing at this spot. This stock will outperform 95%++ of all other stocks in the time-frame I set and anyone laying down chedda here is going to be HIGHLY rewarded. I will not be surprised at 300-500% returns here.
I'm going to add also. Thanks briggs.
Briggy,
I love your capitalizing: "IM VERY VERY HUGE EASILY TRIPPLE HIGHLY".
I must admit, I bought a couple of thousand shares for giggles and follow it. Mostly on the cash holdings they have I figured the company was really trading for free. I got it at 3.40 back in July.
Just in my account. Can't say I did due dilligence on a UK tip.
I hope we just make enough before Martial law comes!

Nalod I added an additional 15 shares on Friday and my brother added 8. I'm into this thing for roughly 175. I went well above and beyond what I would usually entertain for any one individual stock. My new goal is 7 digits within 2 years
Riley Investment Calls For GSI Tech To Buyback Stock
Sep 26, 2008 09:57:04 (ET)
Riley Investment Management LLC on Friday reported holding a 5% stake in GSI Technology Inc. (GSIT), and said it wants the company to "implement a stock buyback as expeditiously as possible."
Riley beneficially owns about 1.4 million shares of the Santa Clara, Calif., semiconductor company, according to a regulatory filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
In a letter sent to GSI, Riley said it believes that "long-term shareholder value would be best enhanced through share purchases," given the company's low valuation and minimal capital expenditure needs.
"With a compelling product roadmap, significant earnings leverage and robust cash resources now is the time to take advantage of GSI's depressed share price by retiring outstanding shares and benefiting all shareholders, " Riley said.
Shares of GSI Technology were trading hands Friday morning at $3.61, off 3 cents.
Riley further said it may evaluate other strategic alternatives in order to influence the company's performance and the activities of the board.
Just getting started fellows. Remember where I worked and that I may know a few people here and there.
Boy this guy is the same is roughly the smae age as me?? Wonder if we ever played some pick up basketball together?

This stock has ben quite stable over the past few months while everything else has tanked. So with the depressed state of the stock market and a recesion, what do u think is the outook now for this company and its stock price?

I stand by what I said--that this stock will be in the double-digits next year. I own 53k shares of the stock My brother my father in law and a few buddies of mine also own in the range of 5-15k shares each. I also have opened up positions in HAUP [for the 6th time in 12 years] and SSTI both in the 15k share range over the last week. I specialize in small cap companies that I believe are significantly undervalued or have a contrarian/ negative view to their market with no debt significant cash reserves and quality product/services. High quality small cap niche companies is the way to go right now imho.
Hey Briggs. I just saw your update, for some reason it never said this thread had a new post, either that or I just missed it.
I went in on this stock back in July for 100 shares (yeah I know thats nothing) but mind you I'm 25 years old and been outta work since April and it looks like it will remain that way since the job market is horrible right now, although I do hopefully have one opportunity, I just hope it works out for me. UGH. Ok sorry, rant over lol.
I must say though with all the volatility that has been going on lately, this thing has held up quite well. Major props to you on this one. Thanks.
Briggs - I have been following GSI for the past week. For the past 3 days its price falls to the $3.25, $3.35.....and then at the very end of the day jumps back up. Usually on low volume. Was someone trying to push the price back up??
Yesterday was a little different as the volume at 4 PM was very large and raised the price back up only 12 cents to $3.47
So what is going on?
P.S. I am impressed with your stock knowledge and aggressive purchasing of potentially good companies.

The institutional ownership of the stock is very low--so the brokerages that make a market in the stock really have carte blanche to move it around. There was a 13-D filed by B Riley a few days ago which showed their accumulation went over 5%. The way to accumulate stock is to move it around--taking out stops and shagging people who panic or get fed up. If you go back about three months--the stock has traded within a .50 or so barrier. I have seen it all--the worst thing to do in any stock is follow it minute by minute day by day unless something changes in the fundamentals or you are in the stock for a day/momo trade etc... I am 125% confident here HIGHLY HIGHLY confident--and that is the best I can tell you. I also feel the overall market is going to have a massive capitulation and I am waiting with open arms
