dammit, now i gotta rehaul my roster just when Jamal was leading the league in MVP voting as my starting PG.

good thing i stocked up on 1st round draft picks by trading BJ Mullens to Philly for Nate again... time to work a trade for Lebron now.
So after 3-peating with the Knicks(I restarted my franchise cuz something messed up), I left for the Bobcats. During my time with the Knicks, I did my best to get under the cap but was unsuccessful in signing LeBron or any top free agent. Instead I signed someone who I can't remember but was good and traded him for Devis Harris. I think signed Anthony Morrow who flourised into a star and after that the details are shady. I did end up getting LeBron by trading Granger and Biedrins for him 2 years later but he was only a part of one of those titles.
In Charlotte I brought along my pet project on the Knicks, Alex Ajinca. I signed the dude off the scrap heap and developed him with training during the season and training camp in the offseason to a legitimate shot-blocking threat. He now averages 8 boards and 2 blocks starting on the Bobcats(he had been released from them, signed with me, and I traded for him when I left). I wish it was that easy to develop players.
lol, if only it was so simple to get Lebron in real life... we could trade D Lee, Chandler & a 1st round pick for him.

i got all the ammo lined up to sign Lebron this coming offseason in my franchise mode... 4 1st round picks to trade & plenty of cap space to bring on 2 max contracts... btw, Thabeet is a defensive beast & averaging 4 blocks per game along w/pulling down 11 rebounds... Demar Derozan is a shoe in for ROY & 2nd in the NBA in scoring right behind King James... possible MVP candidate.
Javaris Crittenton has blossomed into an awesome PG & is now starting for my team & leading the league in PG efficiency rating... Harrington & Gallinari are competing w/each other for the 6th man role & putting up very comparable numbers, & Nate is chirping for an improved role cuz he's putting up #'s too, but i'm keeping him happy w/minutes.
65-6 entering into the final stretch of my 2nd season as GM... not too shabby.
The lineup that won my 3rd and last title with the Knicks was
C - Ajinca
PF - Beasley(ah, THAT'S who I signed as a free agent in 2011...I think)
SF - Gallinari
SG - Lebron
PG - Devis Harris
6th man - DJ Augustine
well now i can get into this conversation with my current team on nba2k9.
i am in my third year and the last two years were similated and i just wanted to build a good foundation, no playoffs though i came close the last year with a 41-41 record. i went after both kobe and lebron but i wasn't under the salary cap to get both so i got lebron. no point guards so bron is my point and doing suprisingly well at it. i am currently 4-2 and number 2 in my division behind philly who i lost too but have another shot soon. my lineup consist of this:
pg- king james
sg- hunter ( #5 pick 2009)
sf- wilson chandler
pf- d lee
c- jared jeffries ( playing well defensively and cutting to the basket)
lost two close ones to philly and orlando but beat the pacers who, believe it or not, are the defending champs.

Any of the PS3 users have problems with their controllers not working, or one's that stop working after 10 minutes of use?
Has happened to me on 2 occassions. I just turned off the controller and turned back on and it was working.

that's a power saving mode... if u don't do anything for a while the controller shuts off to save battery... the only other thing i can think of is that it's time to recharge it using the USB cable.
- finally won a championship after my 2nd season
- Thabeet won defensive player of the year award
- Derozan won ROY & MVP awards
- just signed Lebron James to a max contract
- drafted Derrick Favors & Patrick Patterson w/my lottery picks i got in trades last season
my 2010 roster:

C - Hasheem Thabeet / DeAndre Jordan / Eddy Curry (i needed someone who'd be happy to sit his fat butt on the bench & not play)
PF - David Lee / Derrick Favors / Patrick Patterson
SF - Lebron James (star of my team) / Danilo Gallinari / Patrick Ewing Jr.
SG - Demar Derozan / Wilson Chandler (6th man) / James White
PG - Javaris Crittenton / Nate Robinson

congrats on your second championship, tms. still trying to win my first. i made some major trades and did the layden thing and brokered the future to get better. itraded 2 first round picks and some of my key prospects to get this team which struggled at first but are in the midst of a 9 game winning streak.
c= amare stoudimire
pf= king james
sf= julian wright
sg= danillo galinari
pg= bayless
6th man= sam cassell
despite my trading i still have the youngest team in the league. we lead the league in scoring and bayless is a blur up and down the court. wright is as athletic as they come and cassell definately provides a scoring punch from the bench.
nice mix of inside outside u got going there bro... i went for fly slamma jamma myself.

thanx. that was my goal and to have the most athletic team out there. i still think i need another consistent three point threat though gallinari and bayless are both pretty good from long range. i wonder if anyone had taken the current roster of knicks to the championship? i tried half a season with the roster in december but knew i wouldn't make it to the playoffs so i simulated the rest of the season. i want to know if anyone had the skills and patience to do that ( i know i don't have it).

finish the first season with bron with the best record in the league. cruised through the eastern conference playoffs but portland beat us in a heartbreaking game 7 ot win. brandon roy is impossible to stop by now. won the championship the next season but as a fourth seed ( sim the whole season). only lost 2 games and swept the suns in the championship. the nest season, i took a risk and traded wright for some veteran help in garnett who whose skill has taken a dip but still rated 90. this move hurt my chemistry and we lost in the eastern conference finals swept by the dreaded nets. the next year, i got ray allen for cheap and bayless is one of the best point guards in the league but we started struggling ( sim through all-star break). garnett and gallinari are complaining and bringing the chemistry down but i started garnett and gave him more minutes and he is starting to be happy. now we are in the midst of a 12 game winning streak coming from 5 place to 1st in the conference. still my chemistry is 30% but better than the before mentioned 20%. i hope we can get to 60-70% before the playoff but we are in march so i will see. any advice to speed up the chemistry process?
1 way to cheat is by upgrading each player's role in GM mode, & then switching them back to their original roles in player edit... i do that for all the bench warmer scrubs who get no playing time but are satisfied to sit their weak butts on the bench... did that for Lebron too (only i reversed it by making him a bench player in edit mode & then upgrading his role in GM mode to star player) cuz i didn't feel like waiting for it to go up naturally... sheit, after signing him to that max contract his ass BETTER be ecstatic!
u can also stop players from complaining about their roles by reducing their overall ratings... bench players w/an overall rating of 80 or better will always want significant minutes in the rotation & at least a 6th man or starter role... if u bring them down to 79 or lower they're happy as role players... bench warmers are happy if their overall rating is below 69 or lower. (this is not effected by periodic upswings in ratings based on how well the team is playing or practicing, but it is effected if u put them through training & upgrade their skill ratings)
also the more roster moves u make, your team chemistry ratings will go down, so u have to be careful not to go overboard w/trades in a single season... but those ratings go up steadily as u win games & as u handle the practices.

how do you have time for all this sh*t bro??? lol
won in 2014-2015 and lebron mvp again. had to sign him and stoudamire again and bayless is developing as a premier point guard which i like. gallinari is a sniper in the game and now i am trying to repeat though i lost garnett via free agency so hibbert is manning the middle. we are in a 4 way race for first in the conference with jersey, toronto and dc.
