11-5 so far and on top of my conference tied with milwakee. my sophomore sensation is avg. 33 ppg leading all scores. lead the leagvue in scoring and fg%. looks ver4y good that i will repeat as champions and hopefully my sophomore sensation will win mvp honors.

my 1st moves as a GM:

1 - traded Marbury, Jefferies & a future 1st round pick for Bibby, Marvin Williams & Zaza Pachulia
2 - offered Zach & Pachulia to Sactown for Brad Miller, Miki Moore & their 1st round picks in '09 & '10... they refused, but countered by asking for me to throw in my '09 2nd round pick... i happily accepted.

You can't trade a player you just got in a trade with another player for at least 60 days. You can trade him on his own though. Your 2nd deal should have been rejected on that basis. Looks like this videogame needs to hire someone with some basic knowledge of the CBA.

my team is currently 14-0 & Demar Derozan looks like a shoe in for ROY honors if he keeps putting up 30 pt. games like he's been doing so far... i'm not complaining.

who needs Lebron?

I had to restart my franchise when the thing screwed up so this ismy team like 5 years in. D'Antoni kept failing in the playoffs, was fired, and we won the title the following year and we are on our towards a 2nd one.

as much as i was tempted i just couldn't get myself to completely gut the roster... i still have D Lee, Jamal, Gallo, Chandler & signed Balk to a 1 year deal as familiar Knick faces... just makes me feel good to actually see these guys playing well, even if it's in a damn video game... lol.

I don't know why you like Crawford so much. I just don't get it.

for 1 thing he's the best scorer on this team & he's a Knick...
for another there aren't many guys in the NBA that can cross a guy over out of his sneakers the way Jamal can, & he makes clutch shots in big situations...
& lastly, u'r a liar if u say u don't love it when u watch him doing stuff like this:










of course i would prefer to have a guy like Kobe or Lebron but we don't... he's got plenty of flaws no doubt about it, but in the end i can't help but root for the guy cuz he's a big shot maker & doesn't have the primadonna attitude that alot of other players have in the NBA.

my favorite Knick of alltime is John Starks... do u think there weren't plenty of times he made me wanna rip my hair out & throw a shoe at my television set tho? we all have our favorites, however flawed they may be as players.

i edited the top 20 prospects to match the top 20 on NBA Draft net... u can only edit their names during the season, cuz once u get to the draft their names get set... took a while for me to match up the faces & positions w/the names... u can't edit the weight but u can change the heights of each player, so to make sure u don't end up w/a 280 lb. SG u gotta match up their positions w/the guy u wanna change him to.

I would like to do this. Explain this again, but real slow because I'm having trouble understanding what you are saying.

u have the option to edit any of the draft prospects' names at any time during the season before the draft only... after the draft is held their names become permanent & u can no longer change them...

also u can change the height of the prospect & positions they play at any time before or after the draft, but u can never edit their weight (u can do the same for veterans too).

so basically if a guy is listed as a 6'11" 260 lb. C, u can change his info to match whatever name u want & change his position to PF or whatever else before the draft is held, but he's still gonna be 260 lbs... so in order to get the weight close to what u want it to be u have to choose a guy who already weighs around the same as the player ur changing him to...

for example, i wanted to change 1 of the prospects to become Brandon Jennings... so at the beginning of the season, i chose a prospect who weighed around 170 lbs. from the list of PG prospects & changed his name & height to match... i usually try & look for guys who sorta resemble them in the pics also... u can also change their body type to slim, normal or big also but it doesn't have any effect on the weight that's listed in their profile... i figured this out when i changed a PF prospect into a PG & ended up w/a 6'2" 250 lb PG prospect that looked skinny, so i had to do it over again using a different prospect.

too bad there isn't a way to upload the list of prospects or else i woulda made my guys available to u bros & saved u the trouble... i have the 2010 rookie class already made up too.

Okay, I got it, I'm going to do this today instead of working. I need a break anyway. One last question becuase I'm not looking at it right now. Can you change the prospects tendencies and attributes?

yep, u can... i pumped up the top lottery talent & they all got taken in the top 10 as it turns out... Jennings went #1 overall to the Nets & i was able to pick up Derozan #4 & Mullens #5, then traded for WAS's #8 pick Thabeet during training camp.

i have a good shot at landing the #1 overall pick in the draft this year cuz i swiped the pick from the league worst Nets for a couple 1st round picks i accumulated in other deals & 2 future 2nd round picks... hoping to land Rubio to be my franchise PG of the future after Jamal's contract runs out.

23-7 and the best record in the league. two 10 game winning streak so we are straight ripping. my sophomore received player of the month honors and leading the mvp voting. killed the second best team which is portland by 20 points. mayo is an animal avg. 19ppg and 7 apg. great robin for my batman.

are you guys talking about 2k9? Also, can't you just create your own players as opposed to editing existing players? I'm planning on getting the 2k9 probably next month.

Any of the PS3 users have problems with their controllers not working, or one's that stop working after 10 minutes of use?

that's strange, i don't have that problem, but my PS3 does freeze up from time to time so i have to power off w/the kill switch & reboot... r u making sure ur controller is recharged w/the USB cable?

yes, we're talking about 2K9... & yeah u can create ur own players but once u start the franchise mode u can't add new players to the rosters... at least i don't think u can... anyways, u get a generic looking picture on ur player profile if u create ur own & i like to have the faces look a little more realistic by just editing the prospects that are pre-made.

i put myself in the game when i first started franchise w/a created player & he's an awesome glue player for the ATL Hawks franchise, came in 2nd in ROY voting last year... pretty much a rich man's Renaldo Balkman... lol.

dammit, now i gotta rehaul my roster just when Jamal was leading the league in MVP voting as my starting PG.

good thing i stocked up on 1st round draft picks by trading BJ Mullens to Philly for Nate again... time to work a trade for Lebron now.
