I'm at 100% now and in my 2nd season with the same lineup. The role players have changed a bit but we've got great chemistry.

I'm in Game 7 of the Finals against the Clippers. David Lee is starting for that Clippers team.

how do u keep everyone happy? everytime i don't play the Starters at least 30 minutes or the role players at least 15-20 their morale goes down a bit... Nate's my 6th man but if i don't play him at least 24 a night his morale slips too.

I did a new association with different changes.

First I updated the rosters which brings Lee overall to a 82 and Chandlers to a 72.

I trade Curry(74) for Rasho Nesterovic (expiring contract) then waive Rasho.

Then I traded Crawford and Q Rich for Andre Kirilenko.

Starting Line-up *= what the avg after one season

Duhon *11.9pts 6.7ast 3rbs
Marbury *17.4pts 4rbs 5ast
Kirilenko *14.5pts 6rbs 3ast 3blks
Randolph *19ppg 10rbd
Lee* 9pts 10rbs

Bench
Nate 17pts 3rbs 3 asts 3stls "Sixth Man of the year"
Chandler 9.5pts 5rbs 1blk
Gallo 12ppts 3rbs 4ast
Jeffries

Benchwarmers
Rose
Collins
James

45-37

So yeah I won the title, came back the following year andlost in the 2nd round in 7 games to the...Bulls. I have now left and joined the Memphis Grizzlies.

TMS, the trick is to look at a guy's role. If he is asking for a bigger role, that will require more playing time. Usually role players want at least 11-12 MPG, 6th men want about 21-23 MPG and the starters need at least 36 MPG. I have 1 sixth man, 2 role players, and a bench warmer on my bench and the last 2 guys on the active roster are bench warmer scrubs who are always happy.
TMS @ 10/17/2008 5:30 PM
yeah, i figured that out the other day... i traded back for Big Turd cuz he was happy being a bench warming scrub... i brought Zach back to the Knicks again along w/Darko Milicic in exchange for Curry & Marbs, & i signed up a scrub on a veteran's minimum contract to keep the bench warm next to Turd... so far looks like everyone's happy in their roles.
Cookdcokehop @ 10/18/2008 5:29 PM
I always have my players morale 70 >.
jazz74 @ 10/27/2008 10:34 AM
though i have nba live, there are similarities. just won a championship in 2011 but not the way that you would think. rebuilt for a few years trading and i built my team through the draft. had two number one picks two years ina row and came out with a sg with kobe bryant's skill set. took us to the championship his rookie season and signed some vets to bolster the bench before hand. swept the spurs in the finals with my rookie avg. 22 point per but his clutch shooting is insane. i would also note that i didn't play a game until AFTER they won the championship. this is all simulated. now i am playing the season to repeat with this starting lineup:
c- david lee ( signed an extension)
pf- danillo gallinari ( signed an extension)
sf- wilson chandler ( signed an extension- role player only)
sg- russell freeman ( rookie sensation- franchise player)
pg- oj mayo ( traded my other number one pick prospect to get him- actually good pg, currently the best backcourt in the league)

i played 4 games and have a record of 2-2. i play every other game and will continue that throughout the season. had a killer game against miami that was double overtime and won the game 152-145. my team leads in scoring obviusly avg. 117 ppg. freeman is my best scorer avg.35 ppg now while mayo is second avg. 24ppg. so that is another avenue to improve your team instead of doing the "lebron sweepstakes" ( though in this game all the major players usually resign with their team so i could not do it anyway).
TMS @ 10/27/2008 5:38 PM
i really wished they had real life college, international & HS prospects in this game instead of made up rookie sensations... adding in a D Leagues feature would also make this game that much better.

btw, my team's got a .500 record but our team chemistry is at 7%... everyone's ecstatic about their roles tho... what am i doing wrong here?

Practicing every week, not making major trades (during the season) and winning streaks boost chemistry

i've been scheduling practice every day there isn't a game at normal intensity w/1 day off per week usually... the team's been on a couple lengthy losing streaks of late tho, that's probably the culprit.

Is it me or is it impossible to beat the computer on Hall of Fame?
TMS @ 10/28/2008 12:47 AM

i can't even beat the CPU on Allstar level w/the current Knicks' roster unless i fiddle around w/the game sliders.
jazz74 @ 10/28/2008 8:23 AM
well, i am currently 4-4 with my team being inconsistent. mayo is throwing way to many turnovers and my rookie sensation ( or sophomore sensation since it is his second year)is a one man show ( but man he is great!). i got blown out by the worse team in my league right now ( sactown) so we need to regroup. oh that was simulated by the way. i played the lakers who are struggling to but has a talented lineup ( they traded kobe to toronto for both bosh and o'neal and kept gasol and bynum so that team has some bigs!) and blew them out. as far as getting real players from hs and college coming up and in the game, i would like that too especially with what they are doing with the games now that are updated EVERDAY. however, the bottom line is that they want you to keep buying their games every year so they won't do that. however, i do like developing their generic rookies into superstars with a sense of ownership. i used to do that all the time except the past coulple of years just managing the salary cap to get superstars that were established ( i signed at different points bron, melo, d wade and dwight howard).

i already edited the top 20 prospects to match the top 20 listed on NBA Draft net anyways, so i'm covered for a year at least... i got my scouts checking out Brandon Jennings, BJ Mullens & Demar DeRozan as we speak

I might have to try this
TMS @ 11/2/2008 2:06 AM
finished the first season at 41-41 w/a #7 seed & stretched the #2 seed Magic to game 5 in the 1st round.

starting off season 2 w/a trade of Zach (again) to the Bulls for Larry Hughes, Ty Thomas & their 1st rd. & 2nd rd. picks in '09 (revenge for the Curry trade)... also pilfered the 1st rd. lottery pick, Jason Smith & cap filler off the 76ers for a re-signed Lil Nate & a future 1st rd. pick, which i used to nab Demar Derozan at #4... also picked up BJ Mullens at #5 w/the Grizzlies pick i had from last year's trade of Eddy Curry (LOL!) & stole Hasheem Thabeet off the Wizards who picked him #8 along w/cap filler for a package of Q Rich, Haywood & 2 mid-1st round picks... also got Javaris Crittenton & a 2nd rounder from MEM for Mardy Collins & Jevale McGee (who i had picked up last year in another trade) & signed my man Balkman to a 1 year LLE contract.

*whew* that's a lotta offseason moves

my '09 roster:

C - Thabeet / Mullens / Mikki Moore (filler from a trade)
PF - Lee / Ty Thomas / Jason Smith
SF - Chandler / Gallinari / Balkman
SG - Derozan / Hughes / Wallace Shelton (late 1st round pick)
PG - Crawford / Crittenton

GKFv2 @ 11/2/2008 4:10 AM
How do you have real players from the draft on your team?
TMS @ 11/2/2008 12:23 PM
i edited the top 20 prospects to match the top 20 on NBA Draft net... u can only edit their names during the season, cuz once u get to the draft their names get set... took a while for me to match up the faces & positions w/the names... u can't edit the weight but u can change the heights of each player, so to make sure u don't end up w/a 280 lb. SG u gotta match up their positions w/the guy u wanna change him to.
Pharzeone @ 11/2/2008 9:26 PM
I just finished my 7th season. Back to Back championships.
jazz74 @ 11/5/2008 7:16 AM
11-5 so far and on top of my conference tied with milwakee. my sophomore sensation is avg. 33 ppg leading all scores. lead the leagvue in scoring and fg%. looks ver4y good that i will repeat as champions and hopefully my sophomore sensation will win mvp honors.
