posting this just to irritate jrodmc

I'm completely bummed... Was following the Knicks draft, not the Rangers... Completely shocked to see that they're dismantling what they can for a rebuild on the fly... Trading Stepan was like trading Oakley... Hopefully we get Camby back

you won't have to worry about me posting in this thread again until next year -- this team sucks. Not as bad as the Knicks, but probably more disappointing because i didn't expect them to be a cellar dweller

I can't even begin to figure out who will be playing; what lines; etc. The Rangers have lost 7 straight, that is before this dump/restructuring at the trade deadline. I wonder if we will win another game this year. It's a battle between the Rangers and Knicks on who can lose the most.

On a Positive note:The Rangers did pick up a number of good young players/prospects and a couple of 1st round draft picks. And dumped a lot of salary. Looking forward to next year.

I was absolutely gutted yesterday... pretty pissed off...

today is different. I realize that I don't really know much about the prospects. This isn't basbeall, there's nto a ton of information out there on these guys. I really don't know jack about the prospects.

Really what we acquired was picks. This isn't basketball so I don't really have nay handle on the draft class or who will be available...

So this is a huge leap of faith. I hope they don't fuck this up. But there is no way for me to know if they botched it or not, at least not for a few years

akrud reminded me I need to post regarding why I am super pumped for the Rangers this year:

- signed the marquee UFA in the Bread Man
- traded for one of the best righty defensemen in the entire NHL
- drafted an NHL ready blue chip prospect
- last year's first apparently is the same thing and will play this year
- John Davidson is back, baby!

I think the Rangers make the playoffs this year and next year they definitely do

jrodmc @ 9/23/2019 12:45 PM
- and it's still fucking annoying.

I think is the most beautiful NYR goal I ever saw

Is this one more beautiful when you consider the situation
