I don't exactly know why, but this made me laugh.
Yeah, I don't get hockey. Or care to.

Has Phil been spotted at any of the Finals games?

he's been at the games at MSG

When the ice isn't cold enough or smooth enough, the puck will tumble or get on edge and it leads to some sloppy hockey. The Kings are the bigger stronger team and sloppy ice negates the Rangers biggest asset - speed

Lunquist did a nice job keeping his ice "Sloppy" (goaltenders do this by scratching up the ice in goal), and thus saved the potential tying goal last nite!!!

MSG ice should be to home teams specifications!

Greatest Late spring moment:The fog game in Buffalo!
They were not used to playing in the heat in Buffalo and when you have ice in a warm building, you get FOG!!

Pump for tonight. Rangers-Islanders both teams rollin!
gunsnewing @ 1/13/2015 9:50 PM
Well that sucked

Keith Yandle hopefully will be able to QB the powerplay... of the picks/prospects dealt, I think I am saddest to see Duclair traded. I think he'll be good

Juts bought 4 Ranger tickets for tomorrow night--the cost of a fucking used car--but it will be worth it.

what a fucking game!

Tough loss last night came back twice. I think Im resting Lundquist next game. Thats two games in a row with 6 goals and that last one was something he always snags. He had a tough season physically--he needs a 4 day rest.

Good game tonight. I thought it might get ugly in the third up 5-1 but we stayed aggressive and pretty tight despite one bad blunder. The Rangers to me have been the superior team but this is just a series that cannot be called. Having home ice has done nothing but give teams a false sense of security.
BRIGGS @ 6/2/2015 11:22 AM
Rangers played not to lose in game 7. Every time a team plays that way they loss. I said it after the end of the 2nd period--I knew they were done even though it was tied. TB played a very similar game to game 5 NY just took home ice to soft. Good year again. I think the best team lost.

Both Girardi and Staal had ankle surgery after the playoffs... McDonagh played with a broken foot.... and then we find out that Zucc had a fracture in his head and couldn't speak for four days after he took the slap shot to the head... I am incredibly disappointed and expected more. That said, I think the injuries shell shocked them a little and it makes it a little bit more bearable

Season opener and we take down the defending Champs 3-2 baby!

Rangers have a very similar looking team to last years but with more added speed and youth. Lindberg's been close to their MVP so far.

BRIGGS @ 10/25/2016 11:36 AM
Rangers should be 5-1 blew that game to Detroit--very solid start in many aspects of the game so far.
BRIGGS @ 11/7/2016 10:15 AM
Very exciting Rangers team with a lot if fire power. They've been a great club the last 5 years but this team is really special
SupremeCommander @ 11/11/2016 8:53 AM
I know McIlrath had to go but I feel like we just got fleeced
BRIGGS @ 11/17/2016 8:23 AM
I go all the way back to the 70's I watched almost every game in 1993--this the best Ranger tea I have ever seen. They really only shouldve lost 1--but its not that. Their combination of scoring ability defense goal tending and team chemistry is incredible--they didnt play that well last night and still won 7-2. This is a team if they stay healthy---this is a SC champion. This is a franchise which has been good a long time now --thats all you can ask for in hockey--because once you get into the playoffs anyone can get hot. But this team is going to be a handful for any other team.
SupremeCommander @ 2/28/2017 4:05 PM
Rangers traded a third this year and a second next for Brendan Smith... I kinda wished they hadn't made the move because of how many picks the team has traded the past few years and has a left handed shot. But he was a college teammate of Stepan and McDonagh so maybe there's more upside than meets the eye

posting this just to irritate jrodmc
