Regardless of MDA's system. With this group of guys you need a legit point guard. No if, ands, or buts about it. You have a score first player in Melo. An Amar'e who is obviously not the same as he was last year, and cannot create shots for himself. A Tyson Chandler who will not be involved in the offense unless someone sets him up. Another player who cannot create shots for himself in Fields. A low IQ player in TD. A player who can create shots for himself in a league without offensive fouls in Walker. I mean there is just no way without a legit pg.
i don't think d'antoni has run this many iso's his whole coaching career has he has this year. he's obviously changed his offense to suit his personnel. we need baron in the worst way to get back to SSOL.

Although I agree with the bolded, we still need a pg. Especially having Amar'e and Tyson. All the better teams in the league have a pg. I can't see this getting any better until Baron is back and comfortable.
LOL Baron ain't going to make a difference. Baron would need to come in and play like Chris Paul. Which is not going to happen.
Exactly. some people are high because they think that baron will make us a top 3 team. hell even when baron davis was in his prime he was never a steve nash or chris paul

i do understand basketball been playing since i was 3 a pg no less go figure lol. I have read many people say that baron will make this team dominat all of a sudden so i didn't say anything untrue. Once again I am not saying the majority think that im saying a few or some. I mean like i said read the post please man it will make this easier lol.

this team needs an orchestrator on offense so badly. they have two guys who have averaged 25ppg in their career. they don't need a guy to come and score 30. they need a guy to get his teammates the ball in the right spot.
i never dispute that. What i said baron is coming off a tough injury and he needs time to gel so dont expect him to be on fire right away. Thats not a crazy statement

bro, in this shortened season we're having practices once every 2 weeks it seems. there's not enough time to institute a whole new offense, there is no comparison to what's going on this year with the schedule than any other year.
