Even in an offense where Melo and Amar'e are featured more, we still need penetrations and threes from our guards and Lin is good at both. Im sure last game was more of an aberration considering we won by 42. Our starters didn't reach 30mins if I remember well. You think iuts gonna be that way everytime? Heck, Bibby played more than 7 minutes in the fourth!
I think Lin is our starter for the rest of the season and while Woodson is saying and doing the right things about Melo and Amar'e, he knows what Lin is cappable of and will use it to his advantage. Also you have to be careful with Davis' health, so a stay in the bench should be the best for all.
Lin is here now to get Asian market millions for Jimmy.
He is smart kid and as Woody/Melo/Stat will start pushing him out to the bench he will start looking out.
Then Jimmy will get in the act... he likes drama.
Watch for big things to come. Very interesting!!!
hehe..yea, I expect some big things in the future.
I don't know if we all really reconciled in our brains what happened over the last few days; we had major drama that is not normal for any other team, but for us it was a walk in the park on a Sunday, feeding the pigeons.
Melo killed Linsanity but Dolan still making cash. Melo may or may not take this team far—Dolan still makes his cash. Lin may be gone, Melo might eventually get traded if he doesn't produce. but as long fans keep buying tix, NOTHING CHANGES.
