Feast or Famine with his shooting and Stu Lantz(Lakers color guy) said it's a growing concern within the Denver organization. Karl should bring him off the bench to light a fire because obviously it's not sinking in with him. There isn't one thing Gallo does consistently well on a nightly basis.
Exactly thats why I laughed yesterday when someone said Denver and their 8th place record is a team you don't want to play in the playoffs. Hilarious since there are so many better teams in the west. 4-5 Elite, championship contending teams!
guns like it or not, denver is going to be a factor in the west. Meaning none of the top seeds wants to see this team.... despite what may be said about gallo(and he pretty much bailed them out last night as well) and we hear grumblings about lots of players, from lots of analyst, not sure what that mean here, but.. denver is in good shape with a lot of home games on the horizon, they are nothing to laugh at....
Again, this is not a team that has to win this year or the next, they are set up well for a long run, plus they have our picks to continue improving that team... and I would say this, they are seperated from the 4th spot by 3.5 games... memphis holds that spot.. they beat memphis twice already..
Its hard to say that "he bailed them out" if the only reason they did not win by 20 was because of how brutally awful he played.
However, it is fair to say that "he bailed himself out"
that would be fair to say if he was the only one playing bad.. but since that wasn't the case he and lawson bailed them out... if you call that bailing himself out then fine, he plays for the nuggets. he wins they win... bail out for all..
He was the awful player on the court. He was the one that the announcer were making fun of all game that when he is off, he just does not stop shooting. He was drunk with his dribble.
Its ok to chastise one of the kids if they are stinking it up.
Lawson was a beast. Faried was quiet stat wise but he was everywhere and pissing off the lakers again and again.
Lawson bailed out the Gallo though. Lawson was phenomenal. Even many of the noted gallo apologists on this board realize that there is reason to be alarmed. And, that there is talk in Denver of perhaps having him come off the bench.
i watch every denver game and never heard anything about him or the bench.. but hey check out the denver forums even on realgm, they had a vote for team mvp so far.. guess who got the most votes?
Yep..
go figure..
but anyway denver is not just about gallo , if they don't do well he won't be the only reason why... that is for sure..

Please, lets not talk about Gallo and "team MVP".
Melo:: 29.0 points, 6.1 boards, 2.3 assists, 0.5 blocks and 1.0 steals per game. A FG% of .466% (.428% from beyond the arc).
Gallo: 16.2 points, 5.5 boards, 2.4 assists, 0.4 blocks and 0.8 steals per game. A FG% of .401% (.346% from beyond the arc).
Not trying to go off topic here, but it's just disgusting how you agenda post 24/7 around here. Simply sickening. God forbid Gallo put up Melo's production with Melo's current numbers? My goodness, you'd be talking up Gallo as the greatest thing since Michael Jordan. You talk up Gallo every chance you get while mocking Carmelo Anthony at all cost's. Look at the numbers between these two guys before EVER talking about another team MVP moving forward. The words Gallo and MVP do not belong together.
tkf wrote:but anyway denver is not just about gallo , if they don't do well he won't be the only reason why... that is for sure..
He could become a huge reason why Denver doesn't do well. It's called not having a true NBA star ala the Melo trade. Heck, at 20-16 overall you'd be harping all over the Knicks for being only 4 games above .500. As the current 8th seed, I highly doubt Denver makes the postseason. That's what happens when you trade a pure fire star (and franchise leader) in Melo for an average to above average player in Gallo.
But yea, carry on TKF. Keep talking up Gallo's average production while considering him a "team MVP" while harping all over Carmelo Anthony. I'm done with this thread, but it's just been disgusting watching how you've gone out of your way to agenda post over the years.

Now it seems as if you don't watch the Knicks games (keep watching Denver). Melo struggled from the jump last night ala scoring only 1 point during the 1st quarter. It's called a bad game. It happens to all NBA players and had nothing to do with K.G getting "inside the head" of Carmelo Anthony.
I guess you missed the last time Melo and K.G went at it. Melo put up 35 points, 12 boards, 10 assists and 2 steals. Knicks won by 8 points. K.G? Nothing CLOSE to a triple double.
Some fans are simply clueless. Melo struggled the entire game, and had nothing to do with K.G getting "inside of Melo's head" because Melo was struggling way before they even got into it.

Is this sarcasm? I just turned the game on and looked at the box score. It looks like he's shooting very well but struggling with turnovers.

Been watching it, on and off. Lakers got off to an early lead and Houston closed the gap and are pulling away. Nash looks like he is getting his legs back. It looks more like MDA ball without Howard and Gasol but as the announcers pointed out, not a playoff team.
James Harden is on another planet right now. He's so good. Delfino is nailing threes. Lin having a good game despite the turnovers. Lakers defense makes us look like the '90s Knicks.

oh you know i am watching..he and harden are a friggin handful in the backcourt.

hahaha, right now he is picking a fight with dwight.. so dantoni is safe for now...
Big #s for Lin: A lot of points, rbs, assists, steals, and turnovers!
rockets can score points...125
Lin and Harden are probably amongst Top 5 best back courts in the NBA by now when you consider overall body of work.
Oh and as I said last week....MOST PROLIFIC OFFENSE IN THE NBA!!!!!
They just need some more defenders
Bonn1997 wrote:Big #s for Lin: A lot of points, rbs, assists, steals, and turnovers!
Turnovers not hurting their record. Didn't hurt the Knicks record during Linsanity either

yea, he and harden combined for 11 turnovers, but they also get assist, and steals.. they are ranked 6th and 7th in the league in steals, they have the ball a lot and play at a high pace, they make a lot of plays... sometimes they will turn it over.. it doesn't seem to hurt them tho...
One of the genius things about Morey acquiring Harden on any given night no matter who they play.....HE'S THE BEST PLAYER ON THE FLOOR, that's crazy when you actually think about it.
