+ Revenge on Kobe and the Lakers always kicking our butts. CAN'T WAIT!

Kobe puts up 50. Knicks Win.

NYKMentality @ 12/11/2012 9:50 PM
I'm enjoying this NY win over Brooklyn as of right now, but we'll be taking our 16-5 back to MSG for this Lakers matchup. It's been 19 years, but we're now 16-5 for the first time since 1993-1994.
AnubisADL @ 12/11/2012 9:55 PM
Oh yea. This is going to be good.
ChuckBuck @ 12/11/2012 10:03 PM
Isn't it ironic we're going to rain 30 threes in Pringles eye?
nixluva @ 12/11/2012 10:04 PM
Gotta kick the Lakers while they're down. Can't let them feel good like we did with the Nets tonight in the 1st qtr. You know the Lakers have been playing poorly but Knicks have to come out strong cuz you know teams like the Lakers will play harder at the Garden. Gotta step on that neck early. Felton has to attack Duhon and Darius Morris cuz they're the weak links.
JrZyHuStLa @ 12/11/2012 10:12 PM
Mike Dantoni is on the hot seat again.

They lost to Cleveland.

Really Mike?

Not until after Nash gets back. Not with a 3 year deal.

IrishKnickFan @ 12/11/2012 10:15 PM
dont take the lakers lightly. yes they are down but we need to play better interior d than we did tonight if we do that we should win
Anji @ 12/11/2012 10:16 PM
Lakers are looking like lunch to me.

Let's not get Kocky! Knicks have to respect their opponents even when they're floundering. Teams have pride and you can't take anyone lightly. Tonight the Knicks came out off their game and had a fight on their hands the rest of the way. They can't do that with the Lakers. we don't want Kobe getting hot or any of their scrubs getting confident. Just can't take anyone lightly. That's the old Knicks.

I agree

Our Knicks are currently 16-5 for the first time since the 1993-1994 season. Our best start in 19 years to be exact. My question is this...

When, if ever at all, has a Knicks team started off 17-5? Because that's what's on the line come Thursday night...

I agree

He is having nerve issues. They are expecting him back on the court by the end of the month.

I think it does get overstated by the media that MDA somehow just ignores defense. That media guy was an idiot to talk about something he didn't know. If he was at the shoot around and could speak on fact then that's one thing, but to just spout that nonsense and he actually didn't have his facts straight was ridiculous. MDA has been at a disadvantage in terms of getting his team to understand and perfect the defense. No training camp and not enough practice time does have an impact. The Lakers had issues before MDA got there and they have a lot of role players that aren't busting it on D and even if they did, those players aren't that physically gifted to begin with. The combination of poor PG play and no defense is really killing that team. Duhon, Morris, Jamison and Ebanks are laterally challenged and that leaves D12 having to cover for them, which takes him away from the hoop. No one backs him up. It's a mess!!! Too much sloppy passing leads to turnovers and that leads to fastbreaks.

We just need for the Knicks to make sure that they don't let the Lakers fix their problems at the Garden. I actually hate games like this cuz sooner or later faltering teams with talent have a good game. Just don't want it to be on Thursday night. Knicks can't take any team for granted.

The stage is set, the players and coaches has their feet in the trenches.

Danphoney vs Woodson

Kobe vs Melo

Fakers 5 game losing streak - Knicks winning streak undefeated at home, for sure one will continue.

Knicks can't come out making this game personal(grudge game) and not play their A game.

THE GAME IS 90% MENTAL AND 10% PHYSICAL

Our team must have their head in the game early on, I know the fans will!

Close your eyes and listen to the lyrics, Q- Tip should re-do the video with current players.

Mray20 @ 12/12/2012 6:34 AM
Will we hear the "Fire Dantoni" chants during the 4th quarter after the Knicks blow the Lakers out?

talking about working on defense and working on defense are two completely different things. I'm with Magic Johnson on this one. While I'm in inclined to agree with his lack of defense urgency is overstatate, everyone complains about the same things with everywhere he's ever been... the definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results. The Lakers are going to be a bad defensive team. How much of it being on Pringles is debatable. All I know is I'm willing to bet anyone that a team that features Kobe, Dwight, and the artist formerly Known as Ron Artest will finish in the bottom half of the league defensively and ultimately that shortcoming lies with the coach
