Im just curious on why u are curious..

please forgive me if i am wrong, but this is not the first time you have made false or inaccurate accusations about another poster and then was asked to back it up, only to get <crickets>. the internet is funny that way.

hence i suppose that when you say you "stand corrected" that this means you won't commit the same "error" in the future?

That in itself is an a accusation..So do u care to refer me to the specifics???..We can put it all on the table here dk7.

If u want to be a man of honor, lets do it...At the beginning of the season, you stated the Knicks would finish between 3rd and 7th seed...At the end of the season you said you were disappointed with the Knicks even tho they finished 2nd seed...Did you not state this???..That is not an accusation..It is fact !!!

Did he say he was disappointed in the *regular season* performance of the team? If so, can you post a link? Given all the links above, it seems a bit risky for us to just trust your memory.

i am willing to admit what is said if you would simply make the effort to find it. meantime a quick search via google yielded the following:

beyond that i guess i will wait for you to find the actual assertion. or maybe i will continue to search too.

That and he is 36 years old. If Felton gets hurt Woody may have to use Melo as point forward as well.

Honestly, I don't think our GM/coach isn't worried about the PG situation. I mean any guard in the league can walk the ball up and dump it to Melo.

seeing folks get up in arms over a team we have no control over and making things almost personal or worse. seen enough threads were folks are droppin hammers on each other cuz they do/dont like X, gm Y, etc. this particular portion of this thread seemed to be getting extra worse at the time.

it seems to me folks take this way to real for being fans. may not apply to you directly.

I now know why Kobe and melo are so close. They think about money the same exact way. This is a quote from Kobe when questioned about taking a paycut to help team sign better players.

"I’m not taking any at all – that’s the negotiation that you have to have," Bryant said. "For me to sit here and say, ‘Oh yeah, I’m just going to take a huge pay cut. Nah, I’m going to try to get as much as I possibly can.”

This is exactly how melo feels. The only difference being melo would never say it in public.

Well kind of but it would be nice to get 1 that is able to guard quicker PG's at a competent level . Collison for his money would of been a god send. Seriously a NBA level starter that is 25 years old signs for 1.9 million a year and u arent in on that, WTF is going on.I would of rather given him that money then Prigs. Collison can be used in upgradeable trades as an extra asset. What if a PG becomes available mid season now we have an attractive low cost player to send out as a replacement for their PG. Do the Knicks even consider these things when weighing players against 1 another. These are the type of things that have us throwing in extra picks in trades.

Kobe can get away with it in LA because of past accomplishments. Melo has done nothing

his actions in the past make you take a guess based on nothing you know about now. So why speculate on what you don't know like its a sure thing. It's just an opinion.

His actions show a pattern of behavior. Maybe we are having a miss communication, but I am talking about the actions Melo has already taken. So, I am not sure where the guessing and speculation you are talking about is coming from. It is a fact that melo took a year longer deal to get the most guaranteed money. This is why he was not a free agent the same time Wade, Bosh, and Lebron were even though they were drafted in the same draft. It is a fact that we could have given up less assets to acquire melo if he waited 3 months to sign with us rather than force a sign and trade. There is no guessing or speculation needed. The proof is in his actions.

Please get over it already. Melo didn't force the Knicks to give up anything, it was there choice! The Nuggets were going to trade him regardless and he never publicly stated he would only sign an extension with the Knicks. Dolan panicked at the thought of Melo heading to the Nets....CASE CLOSED.

Probably could have left and got a deal with us for minimum or anywhere else. Still that's at least 3 players signing there immediately after the Dwightmare and even the D'Antoni factor. They aren't done either. What's the push 4 or 5 total free agents, then it's good?
