Truth. Can we move on from this, or do we have to hire y'all some therapists?

I am saying it now, judging our past history moves, with Iman's comments about TEAM BALL and horrible philosophy on OFFENSE *he just disrespected Melo/JR/Woodson*, he will be the next to be shipped out when his value goes higher with Iman getting more reps with JR recovering

2015 FA class is going to be the year we will be looking to acquire as much big named players as possible like
UFA's Kevin Love, Aldridge, Lebron, Rudy Gay, Hibbert/Marc Gasol, etc, maybe even aged vets like Duncan/KG
Unfortunately this is the same year that Iman is eligible for an extension and unless he signs a contract that is cap friendly, he will likely be gone
Most talented players coming off their rookie contracts look for an extension from 8m and up

Felton
JR
Tim Hardway JR
2015 1st round draft pick

I know Felton/JR has player options and are tradeable contracts if they continue their play the next 2 years

In 2016, they are making upwards of 15m by themselves, it would leave about 3 contracts worth about 15m, not including Iman's
Maybe that was the reason why, there were rumors on Iman the past year with Nash and Dudley, and why we drafted Tim Hardway JR and I would hate to see Iman go....

JR Smith
Tim Hardway JR
Iman Shumpert

all play the same positions and all are undersized to play the SF, I just cannot see us keeping all 3, someone is going to go, and if Iman is going to cut into those plans, we will look to deal him before we lose leverage on him with all teams in the league looking to make a huge splash into the FA class of 2015

We simply cannot afford to pay him *potential* and work ethic, not with all the BIG NAMES available that year

I don't think we can afford to pay Melo more than 15m a season, if he demands more, I think it would be in our best interest to trade him as well
With all the assets we used to acquire Melo, giving him a player option, instead of a TEAM option, or NO OPTION at all, would have been much more ideal for the franchise
