With all the line up switching that he has done this preseason, can any one honestly say that he has a true Idea who's the best starting five or the best 9 or 10 man rotation..

This entire preseason has been about Murry and Diougo.

He started AB all 6 games and never once saying let me see how he looks and against a 2nd unit or with our suppose 2nd unit.

Starting pablo in the 1st 2 games made no sense, since by all reports he isn't going to start when the season jumps off.

I realize this preseason was to evaluate some players trying to make the team, but nothing has really been establish as far as a rotation.

I am so confident that JVG will be coaching the knicks next season..

yes this is really a reach, knowing that several players were rested for Boston second game, MWP missed a game, Shumpert, Prigioni and Felton also missed games due to injuries and Kmart, Stat and JR have still not be cleared for playing in games... But let's discard this information and put it on Woodson switching the roster in .... preseason !!! I thought preseason was for trying things so you don't have to try again during the season if it didn't work well ...

but the roster is better then last yr so you have to expect more, and i don't want to here the east has improve, so have we..

With that being said, how on earth can anything short of a ECF be acceptable. If you can say this roster is a 1st or 2nd rnd flame out and in the same breath, say were better then last season..Please explain how that works..What are we good enough to reach game 7 of the 2nd rnd, is that the kind of improvement were looking at, 1 game..

I'm not evaluating Woodson on just the 6 preseason games thus far, I'm looking at the overall decisions he makes, and there bonifide head scratchers..

I'll give you a prime example, we were up 3 with a few tics on the clock (the double OT game against the raptors) the raptors took there last time out and you don't order your players to foul right away, instead the raptors get the ball to Ross (who was red hot) and he bangs in a game tying 3..

Yesterday he played AB at Center, but at no point in the game while he played center did he stretch the defense (like cope did) AB stayed either in the paint or by the foul line, on defense he was even worse. Then he puts Tyson back in the game with a min or so left after he been sitting since the 2nd qtr. Why Put melo back in the game when he was shooting like 34%..WTF was he trying to evaluate then.

Preseason is for auditions. We have 13 new players on the freakin roster. 13.

Stooping to bust a coach's chops for auditions is too silly for normal hoops vocabulary.

Woody should be fired now. After all he's not doing enough to try to win meaningless preseason games. He shouldn't be using this time to evaluate players in different game situations and with different combos....he should be going all out to win. Further....guys with nagging injuries or those coming back from the shelf should be inserted now....they should not be rested for games that do not count. And also, AB should be cut to make room for the first rounder we need to trade to Indy to bring back Cope.

On a serious note....if Woody decides to keep bro Smith over Murry or anyone else for at matter....he probably should be fired.

Steve Mills better keep Toure Murry and Jeremy Tyler. Cole Aldrich needs some protein and weight training.

Yes I would fire him but then again no one will win a championship with this roster, so getting someone new will do nothing for getting a championship. With that said I have always maintained Woody is a good regular season coach. But I would fire him for his playoff coaching. Creativity is lacking and execution take a back seat to iso ball.
