Oh yes the garden looks beautiful. But what about the Knicks? When will you fix them? Last night I found myself going in between games with the Knicks and the Nets. The Nets looked great. Name deffination and players we can identify with on the Nets. They beat up on the Heat. Then turning back to the Knicks with sloopy plays just a jump shooting team with no set plans. Listen I played basketball and I learned the game well. We had set plays and many of them. The Knicks just don't look like a team who went to training camp. And Woody is being Dolan's flunky. I will always be a Knicks die hard fan but I can't speak for other people who are watching the Nets play. I never turned to a Nets game but I'm doing it now. It's time for Dolan to sell the team to some one who wants to win a championship. Oh yes the garden lots beautiful. But what about the Knicks?
Vmart@ 10/26/2013 10:49 AM
Sick and tired if listening about the Garden. In the end it's just a building.
CrushAlot@ 10/26/2013 10:54 AM
I am the opposite. I used to watch the Nets a lot. Especially if the Knicks aren't on. But I find that I can't watch them with Pierce, Garnett, Terry, etc. Those guys are Celtics and I can't stand them. I really want things to blow up on the Nets. Not sure that it will with all of their depth. I do think they might attract some younger fans but the Knicks still own the city. Nets have a two year run and then are buried.

No they are buried if they fail to win the east and go to the finals. Anything short of that with the Nets they loose. I think Woody is the wrong coach for this team but the right coach for Dolan.

I disagree about Woodson but I think his position has been compromised and he might not last not because of merit but because of the strange and unusual events that are happening with the Knicks. There is no way that a coach whose job is to win keeps Chris Smith and there is no way Glen Grunwald deserved to be canned. Things seem to be out of Woodson's control. Maybe he should have chosen to not change his agent when he was first hired last year. It seems that he keeps being put in positions where he has to compromise his integrity by the owner. I don't think he is a man that is comfortable with that.

You know what I'm sick & tired off -- hearing how certain guys or certain combinations of players can't play together. God, that kills me. Melo and Amar'e can't play together. Bargs doesn't compliment Tyson. Soon people will be saying Melo can't play with Bargs....ENOUGH already! Figure it out!!!!

You're the guy who polices others for being too negative?
MSG3@ 10/26/2013 1:10 PM
No offense...but this is crazy. The Knicks will always be the #1 team in this town. Not that it matters. I'd give up being "#1" in NY for a title.

Enjoy the Nets after this season- locked in salary cap hell, old declining players and no draft picks at all for the foreseeable future!

It's like the Knicks on steroids! Only they're better at it. They might be Barry Bonds while we're Francisco Cervelli!

They might be losing more than just young people. With the exception of last season, the Knicks were woefully mediocre after a decade of being flat out awful. There are people entering their 20's who have never seen a legitimate championship caliber team in New York and incredibly frustrated people, like myself, who have come close to swearing the Knicks off completely.

mr nard dog
you already know where i be on this,
once a fan, always a fan; it's the hand we were dealt,
at the same time i can understand the modern young person, they are quick to hop and step away,
they have options, nets are coming up like filthy animals,
it's going to be tight

Yankees fans like to say the same thing, conveniently forgetting everything in between 1980 1986 and 1995.

I did mean 1986 but I stand by 1995. You couldn't find a Yankee fan anywhere until 1996 when all of a sudden they were everywhere.

Good teams will always be the story over bad ones in the short term...but would you argue because of the mid 80s this is a mets town? Or because the Islanders and Devils had a dynasty this isn't a Rangers town?
