Exactly. feel the same way.
what pisses me off about Amare is that after the lockout, everyone kept saying he was bigger and therefore more jacked. Wrong. The guy came in lazy and out of shape. He probably would have broken down anyway but he essentially accelerated the process. One great year, a fire hydrant, a season destroyed by the Jerome James diet, and a season before he becomes The Expiring Contract Formerly Known as Amare Stoudemire
so in summary, play him like you would ride a race horse that you've decided you would put down if he came up lame one more time

To be fair he wasn't lazy that offseason- his back injury stopped him from doing basketball stuff. He said all he could do was lift weights which is why he beefed up. What annoys me was that he knew the extra weight hindered him that season so why the heck has he bulked up this offseason? I just don't get the thinking behind it.

he ceased looking ripped… that speaks volumes to me. I don't believe he added muscle at all when his physique changed from ESPN the Magazine's body issue to that of a Cheetos lover.
I know he might deserve the benefit of the doubt here but I am unwilling to give it to him, after The Fire Hydrant Incident
Amare isn't a playoff performer anymore and we just need to win games. Play the guy every game.

Probably because he's trying to play with his back to the basket more and wants power over quickness.
