JR is still the second best player on this team...He offense is sorely missed...Felton had 4 open looks on the perimeter in the 4th quarter that he missed...Those were all JR shots..Prigs is too timid a shooter to keep in the game so late down the stretch...Shump is pressing too much..He is gambling on steals, he gambled on the three steals in the first half playing the passing lanes which resulted in three easy layups..He did it once again in the 3rd quarter which resulted in a quick 10 foot jumper...Tim Jr. isn't ready for this just yet...The lanes are being clogged because no one respects our shooters...We were in all three games we lost, JR could have made a difference...One more game and JR can help open up the offense...
We always need someone on the floor(scorer) to keep teams defense honest when Melo is out of the game.
You're right.
Crackhead or not, we need this a$shole's scoring and playmaking to alleviate the pressure on Bozo, I mean Melo.
Hopefully he's had his booze/drug fix in his 5 game vacation, and comes ready to play.
I agree with the basic idea of Melo needing a 2nd gun
I disagree that jr with all his incinsistencies on and off the court is that guy
he's missed, but he doesnt change the outcome.
ideally JR is not that guy for you, but he is that guy for us, and we need him back
Limit his intake to less than scarface levels and he should be fine.

Dude was out of control during the playoffs...
Knicks need jr. Maybe Chris was kept around so that jr stays out of trouble and mentors his brother.
I understand the importance of JR now. He is the only other player other than Melo Woodson trusts. Right now I'll take anyone who will get the ball out of Melo's hand and shoot the ball.
Courage fellas, Sunday's coming!
It is the sad state of affairs when JR is teams only available saver.
But he will make things more entertaining for sure.
At least to compensate the City dancers downgrade.

Yea we saw that vs Indy when JR and to a lesser extent Melo shot us out of the playoffs
Hey, remember back when BDiddy was going to be our savior?
At least Smiff got league bling! And the contract's settled! And little bro's taken care of! And Smiff got to deal with the OTHER JR!

Thats the problem....It should be Melo as the 2nd scorer and JR as the 3rd scorer.
When you have to depend on two players known for jacking up bad shots (at a low percentage rate), It's called fools gold.
Save us, JR, from the basketball horrors that have befallen us...
JR's play speaks for itself.
There's seems to be some kind of poor argument along the lines of: A) The team is bad without JR. B) Therefore, the team would be doing better with him.

yea, but right now folks are just looking for something to grab hold of..
JR is important...and that's not necessarily a good thing (more so because of the type of decision maker he is on and off the court), but he will definitely help. Just need to keep their heads above water until Tyson gets back in December.
JR giveth and JR taketh away. We need to give JR a large enough role to keep him focused, but not to the point where this team collapses like a house of cards if he implodes.

I think JR's role is already given....and quickly increasing with every loss.

Knicks need a point guard.....a guy like Kemba... someone that puts defenses in their heals at all times. That opens up the court for everyone.
Bobby Brown Woulda been awesome. Isaiah Thomas in sactown is my favorite up and comer
