Knicks · On any level--why is Mike Woodson being followed by a Garden employee every where he goes? (page 2)

I just wanna say, why does management send undercover people to spy on my at my job? Why do they hide behind poles looking at what I'm doing?

I feel like you should just do your job. His team is not prepared early in and he is still unsure about his roster. Maybe he needs to do his job and not worry who is watching him. If he had a handle on everything there would be no talk about garden employees watching him.

That's how I see it. He should take responsibility. He is and he should. If he ends up being fired is because of what he did this year. That's how we are all evaluated at work.

You are only as good as your last move is what they say at my job. That's life.

Did you read the article I posted? We're not talking about people watching/evaluating him when he's coaching games or running practices. We're talking about an MSG employee following him around at all times even when he's not performing any team related functions; like meeting some friends and family in Atlanta outside the locker room. Shit like that has nothing to do with job evaluation, it's insecurity and paranoia by Dolan.

Can anyone imagine Phil Jackson putting up with that?

If I'm in the clock and my mom happens to stop by i still have to do my job. You have to be professional. If a msg employee is watching you while you are with family outside the locker room.... my question would be why can't your family meet you in the lobby? You are working. When he's done working then he can be with his family. Maybe they had a quick exchange but that's what it should be. When they are done working in the locker room then he can leave and be with his family. That is completely fair. Nothing wrong with family coming to work but after a few minutes, it's like ok I'll see you guys when I'm done.

Dolan is a scumbag. That's documented. He's still the boss. If he had concerns about work ethic and not satisfied with the performance of his employee, then he should act accordingly.

Woodson has to do his job. That all. I have no problem with an msg employee standing in a work area watching what woodson is doing. Now if woodson is in the parking lot or in the lobby or any non work related area and he's still being watched then you have a hostile environment and that's not right. We're talking about woodson being watched at work. Ok deal with that and do your job. Sorry if I have no sympathy for this report. I work.... I'd in on the clock and on job property, even if I'm in uniform and not on the property I have to be professional. That should apply to woodson. Why should he be different?

Does that guy follow Woodson to the bathroom?

Woodson is being followed because Dolan has a Napoleon complex. The little man has to keep reminding people how big he is.

The most interesting quotes in that article are the damning lines from Alan Hahn. Little did he know in 5 years he'd be a pointman for msg network doing post games under maximum surveillance from Dolan. He hated it so much he wanted to move even further under Dolan's influence...I usually like Hahn's comments and he's pretty critical of the team when the situation demands it, but after reading those quotes he seems to be quite the hypocrite.

Maybe he was just that desperate to get out of a dying medium (print) and into something sustainable.

The thing with people like Dolan, which I don't get, is he was born into wealth, had everything handed to him on a silver platter and got given a basketball team in NY. Why become an arsehole?! Why are people like that never happy unless they're being a d***?!

Lets not go crazy.

It is not crazy. Dolan is taking this crap to absurd levels. I say this and I definitely agree there needs to be some type of media policy. To top it off, this barely scratches the surface on how bad an owner Dolan is.
