Woodson is the problem. The Coach is the one calling the plays and giving Felton and Hardaway the green light to shoot the rock when they please. This should be a two man show...Melo and Shump. Shump has the ability to drive to the basket and dish it out to Melo for the open jumper. No way should Felton, Hardaway or anyone else (but Melo and maybe JR) be taking more shots than Shump.
Hardaway shouldn't be playing. Lin was able to grow enough in 25 games to get a huge contract as an undrafted free agent.

I was starting from the assumption that winning as many games as possible this year is this organization's goal
Even if we don't have a 1st rd pick this year. I would get more joy seeing Dolan fail than getting bounced in the 1st round

I don't think he cares about the Knicks as much as most fans do so I don't think it would burn him that much. The garden sells out regardless. It is much nicer to have a competitive team. Dolan isn't going anywhere so I think you have to hope he fades away again and lets people do their job the right way.

I'm still amazed at how people really thinks Dolan knows basketball and he's make these asinine basketball decisions on his own ?

For Iman Shumpert to develop to his fullest potential, it will unlikely happen with this roster
He needs to play SG and we don't have any legit SF's and PG's to harass opponents with him, instead we have a bunch of SG's and PG's that cannot defend over average PG's and SG's 1v1
Preferably he should play on a team that has 1 GREAT PG that can facilitate and penetrate with consistency like a CP3 or with a bunch of quick, young, athletic, running uptempo system, and plays TEAM BALL
Like any player in the league, Iman needs to be in the right system, with the right talent that compliments his skills and covers his weakness's
Iso ball certainly is not to Iman's strengths and without the combination of mobile, high IQ, good/great TEAM DEFENDERS and 1v1 defenders

worked well together, they might not have been the most talented bunch, but they COMPLIMENTED each other both on and off the ball, and most importantly understood how to play TOGETHER on OFF and DEF often covering for each other
While that group was not talented enough to ever win a title, they played the correct way and needed to play that style of ball to suit the strengths of the team, while we needed to upgrade that talent and bench but KEEP that style of play/pressure on DEF and earning room for each other with multiple picks on and off the ball
Humphries brings what Faried does and will likely be waived at some pt. so why give up Shumpert who has trade value and should be used in a trade(maybe in a package) for a better all around talent who fits when Chandler returns. Maybe he can moved for a player like Bledsoe who could bring D to our pg position or maybe even a Alridge if package somehow enhanced.No reason to give up our best trade chip for a player who plugs a hole in our roster for one month

Even if you add a 1st rounder in, Sun's still even consider Iman for Bledsoe
If we had to move Iman, I think I would preferably want a player like a young Marion in a package
A SF/PF that has the ability to defend 3 at SG/SF/PF positions and even help at PG , give us 8-10 rebounds, combination of 5 steals/blocks with 2-3 steals and 2-3 blocks, and hit able to hit wide open 3point shots, and POST UP and penetrate/finish at about a 50% FG rate
Besides Durant and Lebron, these players generally cost atleast 12m
players like Wilson Chandler, Battum, Chandler Parsons, etc
not sure if we would take a shot at players like Klay Thompson, Harrison Barnes, MKG, Giannes Adeketombo *high upside but will need much development*
other players that could help but are questionable deals/packages include
Dragic
Jarret Jack
Bayless or/and Tony Allen and picks
Gordan Hayward and Brandon Rush
Chase Budinger/picks
For the sake of 2015 FA, we should look to sign someone that will still be in their rookie contracts and/or draft picks so we can use that salary for FA instead and resign them to deals in after 2016 cause Iman is eligible for an extension that same year and likely will not be less than 6m per year, I am guessing he will be worth around 8m per year at least and we cannot afford to pay him that amount with the holes with have and the needs to fill

Yeah but if you look at their per 20 min stats
Shumpert avg 10 Points off of 6 shots
Faried avg 8 points off of 8 shots
But then again...looking at their 40 min per shots averages..
Shumpert 27 points off of 15 shots
Faried 32 points off of 18 shots
But I will still take Shumpert because he averages placing a towel over head (while sitting on the bench) 0.9 times per 40 min, where Faries avg 2.3, and I really hate that because it reminds me of Marbury.
