Yeah but if you look at their per 20 min stats
Shumpert avg 10 Points off of 6 shots
Faried avg 8 points off of 8 shots
But then again...looking at their 40 min per shots averages..
Shumpert 27 points off of 15 shots
Faried 32 points off of 18 shots
But I will still take Shumpert because he averages placing a towel over head (while sitting on the bench) 0.9 times per 40 min, where Faries avg 2.3, and I really hate that because it reminds me of Marbury.

I guess it's probably best for him to go if this is how his "family" feels about him. No more knickstape (the originator of this). The saddest part about this is going to be when the deal falls through, Shump is stuck here knowing for the third time the organization has sh*t on him, and was signed to an extension. That would sure kill my motivation.
Dolan is a moron!! He's been upset with the guys since before summer league. If this guys goes, I am pretty certain Melo will join Kobe in LA. Dolan is too f-ing hands on. He never let anyone do their job. This guy is worst the Jerry Jones as an owner.

Straight up trade between the two teams make no sense for the Knicks.

Are you citing this year's data or the career data? This year is based on like 5 games.
Shrimp is the last player with upside Knicks have.
And the only 2-way player except of Meta...
Trading him is the most stupid thing Knicks can do... so they will deferentially do it.
From this point of view this swap is OK.
But if Kniggs will not go for it Dolan will trade him got Rudy or some other garbage.

Against Jordan Hill and Pau Gasol. Ain't no thing.
We get beat by double digits without Shump tonight. It's not all about stats with Shump.
Nalod wrote:Knuggs not interested.
as I said before, they would want more than just shumpert.. faried is the better player at this point..
This trade doesn't do anything for the Knicks. We need rebounding as well as perimeter defense, we are trading one hole for another.
Perimeter defenders don't grow on trees. For the past several years Miami is still relying on Lebron and Wade to defend the perimeter.

this is what i wanted. it makes it hard to be a fan of this team. when Lin/Shump/Melo/Tyson first played for Woodson they went 5-0 and beat Indiana twice. Paul George was only just coming into his own and Lance Stephenson was coming off the bench, a promising young player. Since? Lin and Shump let go and traded because the owner doesn't like the way they acted off court and the Knicks are struggling. Indiana develops their young guys and look like the best team in the league, with a real chance to beat the Heat. Not saying the Knicks would beat the Heat, but Lin/Shump would be a lot of fun and far better than Felton/JR.
yea.... and replaced by a total clown who acts like a junior in high school
Oh yes, they would be alot of fun to watch especially in suits during the playoffs. Or for most of the last two seasons.
Lin and Shump in suits would be more effective in the playoffs than JR. So I agree with you there.
And you said you don't talk silly.

Don't think you can edit thread titles, can you?

This has nothing to do with who is better Denver knows that they can fleece the Knicks. They have done it before so they know.

9 dimes? That's a nice glaring stat.
Why can't our troll owner take that as fragrant offering of peace and homage?
Faried would get here and somehow blow a ligament or something.

Though to be fair --- Gasol went for 28 and 12 Hill went for 18 and 15 ----- so not particularly sure if Faried got the best of anybody last night.
I watched the game and was most impressed with Jordan Hill --- really showing great effort on the boards this year.
Shump for Hill would be nice but don't think that's happening.
At this point I would trade half the team to anybody who would give us a 1st rounder just to shut up the Somber whiners.

No, tkf, that wouldn't include Melo.
How about shumpert and udrih (when eligible) to okc for Reggie Jackson and thabeet? Shumpert would be a good fit for okc especially since he can replace sefolosha for cheaper when he expires this summer. We get a pg with good upside and a backup center.

makes perfect sense. Knicks dont have a real PF on the roster. They have broken old guys. Shump is not a 3, he's a 2. We are commited to JR Smith there. Fills big need for both teams. Knicks would be a much better team with Faried starting at PF and Melo at the 3

How much sense does faried really make when chandler comes back? Seems like you either commit to Melo at the 4 or start bargnani with Melo at the 3.
