Pg's left in the 90's. The NBA is now guards and forwards. So there will be plenty of d.rose guards coming into the league...that's the new trend.

I used to be a manic defender, fly down the court guy tho not so much a guy that tried to Dunk in games, so maybe that saved me from having any Knee issues my entire life until now. Yeah i'm also a 5'10" former jumper I actually was able to still get up just 5 yrs ago when I was 44, now at 48, I have knee pain and I really can't believe how much i've gone into full Mark Jackson and Andre Miller Mode. It's crazy how much wasted energy some of these young stud PG's use and it may just cover up the fact that they don't really know how to win games just playing BB. Take their freakish athletic ability away and they just aren't as effective.
I rather play against these young athletic studs....They are easier than the seasoned vets cause of their low BB iq.

That was handled wrong. Reports were coming out that he was practicing at full speed daily and looked ready to play.
That doesn't mean his knee was fully healthy.
I agree but that was what kept being released in the press and it did cause a stir.

K.C. Johnson @KCJHoop 6m Bulls make it official. Release says medial meniscus tear and indefinite absence. Source said he's returning to Chicago for surgery.

If I was a bulls fan I'd be worried about the psychological impact on Rose, and also issues of overcompensating when he returns- not sure he'll ever be the player he was.

I agree with those who say that Rose has to change his game now. The HOF is replete with PGs who played under the rim. For Rose's sake I hope he can rise to the challenge.

Hate to be brutal or inhumane but not really sorry about D Rose or the Bulls. No one ever seems to be concerned about our injuries other than to point out how foolish it was to sign Chris Smith when we shouldve been able to look into our crystal ball & predict Chandler breaking his leg or how insane it was for us to sign vets last year, although somehow it was lauded as genius by the Nets this year. Bottom line this is B-Ball and in the words of Ivan Drago...

Should clarify that that I'm speqking metaphorically about his career and not his actual life. Even as a jaded Knicks fan who despises the Bulls, I wouldnt wish that on any man (except motherfriggin Jordan). HaHa

Great post.

While im at it why didnt the great Bulls management who who created a contending core look into their crystal ball and decide to keep Nate the Great who played outstanding ball for them last year and personally won their 1st round playoff series against the Nyets???

The difference is that The Bulls still win even without their best player for the past 2 years almost.
