the dude would average 24 points and shoot 53- 55%
He should only take 1 3 a game--the guy is money from 15 feet and in. And the closer he stays to the basket--the more rebounds he will have.
right now he is shooting 52% from2 and 33% from 3 83% from the FTL. He takes ill advised bad 3's he took a bad one last night. Hes very good from 15 feet--why cant he move his game in three steps?
Even with Bargnani playing well on both ends this team will never win with an offense that caters to Melo getting 30pts on 30shots
We will never make it past the 2nd round until you get a PG that Melo respects like a Billups
How much trade value does he have? I'm curious as he's playing okay
Yes agreed. I want to say that they are running more mid-ranges for Bargs, where he rolls to the FT line to get ball, saw it a lot during Pelicans game and more recently. I would tell him to only shoot 3's if shot clock is going down or if he is really really wide open. Otherwise move ball and move feet.
What did everyone think of his D last night? Aberration for sure but also progress in the context of the season?

If we got Bargs to play like he did last night- the horrid 3 pt shots--hed be a player we could use in a rapid fire rebuild. His D was very good--it wa positional D thats all he has to do.

All of this is coaching. They want Bargs taking threes.
You can't say the player should take mid range jumpers if the coach doesn't call for it.
I have no problem with him taking threes. He's shooting a decent percentage and it frees up his driving game. I would love to see Coach stick to the pick roll/pop when Bargs looks like he's killing it, but the team seems to run away from that play at the oddest times.
And they freeze Bargnani out in the 4th. When the going gets tough revert to ISO Melo and JR
Where in the world is Dave Hopla? Did Felton mistake him for a cupcake? Did he forget to attend a mandatory JD & The Straight Shot concert?

If he can keep this up when Tyson gets back, that would improve the team defense by leaps and bounds.

I'm not so sure Bargs & Chandler can co-exist successfully together. Bargs only stepped up when Chandler went down.
bargnanis defense is horrible when hes switched onto a pg. then again most big men have problems with small guards

Bargs job is not to guard PGs on stupid switches, this is mostly the fault of the PG for not fighting around/over picks, or both are at fault for not playing the trap/pick correctly.

And actually Bargs did a great job last night playing defense.
We're not losing because of anything Bargs is or isn't doing. He's been solid, I think.
Saw a few replays today of the game, bargs impressed je is not far from his peak form I think in the right please je can feature
Also they played a good game phat night three first win us not far

This is pretty much what I was pointing to before the season. Some in the media kept saying that Bargs was going to replace Novak and my take was this was wrong. He's been statistically one of the top Mid range Scorers in the league. When he's in a PnP situation he's money. What you don't want is to have him taking too many 3's. I thought the idea was to get him in a flow where he could play with our PG's in the PnP game and force bigs to come out to try and keep him from hitting that shot and if they didn't he could do very well in his most comfortable shooting area. I don't mind him being a decoy when needed out at the 3pt line, but that shouldn't be the default position.

they're vision glasses smacked
The black plastic ones like the hip people wear
But my phone sucks its time to upgrades
That's the thing with Woodson. .we don't have lights out 3 point shooters like last season yet he continues to run a system that doesn't complement his players, and his silly response is "we have to start hitting those shots in order for us to be successful"
Wtf is he talking about..imagine Phil Jackson saying in order for the Lakers to win a title shaq has to hit 75% of his FT's..
He has no clue how to evaluate his players strengths and capitalize on it, he hasn't gotten the best out of any of his players other then melo and jr and even that's looking suspect as hell..
I'll bet my house that if bar was playing for the Lakers MDA would have him playing like an all star.
ive been tough on bargnani but hes not at fault here
Bargs and THJ are the two biggest positives about this year. Both have been playing well.

definitely last night - and I think Shump has been coming around as well.
They might get this turned around - but the play offs are just about a pipe dream at this point...
