At the same time guys, don't forget he left. The yanks didn't offer the 10 years so he signed elsewhere..... so Cano left the Yankees. That should be the end of that. You can't fault the yanks. They did not want to give him 10 years. That should be enough to just except that and move on.
Yankees will win it all very soon without Cano

Yeah, that's the point I was trying to get at.

Pretty much sums it up.....

play him in left.. you will have a blazing fast outfield and two guys who can be hell on the bases.
Yeah, that would give us a very good outfield and top of the batting order - at least I'm hoping they would put Gardner, not Jeter, in one of the top spots.
Yankees got Beltran. Wow the evil empire is definitely back lol

Embrace the dark side young jedi!!!
Omar infante is next, lol.
Then they will throw the kitchen sink at the Japanese pitcher and probably sign one other starting pitcher and some relievers
Vroom!
Wow, unless we're trading Gardner, we have four outfielders (not counting Ichiro)
I wonder if Soriano is moving to the infield
I doubt it he was terrible in his 20s now he's 38
They will probably trade gardener now
At least Beltrán Gives you what you lost in cano. Better fit than choo in my opinion

The 3 additions together (which cost only a little more than Cano alone) give MUCH more than you could get from just Cano.
Yea I'm warming up to it now
Also, I know I said yesterday they should have gone up to around $205 mil for Cano, but that offer probably wouldn't have made sense. If you're offering $175 and the other person won't go below $300, it seems silly to change your offer to $205.
And I think 3 years, $45 mil on Beltran is a much better deal than 4 years, $60 mil on Granderson
Wow so they are staying under $189

He started out in the infield with the yanks.... that would be hilarious to me. But fun! I wonder if he would do that? I don't remember if he sucked at 2nd or not. Im thinking he was making alt of errirs that's why he was moved or was it the emergence of Cano?
Cashman gets alot of flap but he gets everybody we want. He's like the grim reaper.
He was moved because he was a bad defensively but primarily cos he struck out a ton. Little did the Yankees know there roster would be littered with strike out guys
