Tyson made a good point, even wg=hen guys are out injured, there should still be a system in place the the players go by.Woodson is lost, so the players are lost. You don't know but a little, you can't do but a little, ask the Atlanta Hawks.
Speaking of....i dont recall the Hawks improving when they fired Woody.
You know why, they kept one of his assistants and saved money.
Now they have a real coach and are doing much better.
4 years later you can't pin a thing on a previous coach. Way too many variables have changed. Little things like ROSTERs, but why bother with little details like that.

Would rather watch a talent-overmatched team play with a sound system than for a team for which the 'roster is flawed' excuse is implicitly used to allow for non-coaching.
Woodson is hardly the only, or, even the primary problem, but, for those who defend, what does he do?
18-6
54-28
What is his playoff record with us?
If these players had the nerve to speak up like Beno, Woody would be on a stick being roasted right about now. Dolan /Isiah and Woody lost this team for sure. Something in the front office must change.
Woody played the role of the "SUCKER M.C" just for the Dollars and hired all his boys who wouldn't take his job if offered.
Anybody heard anything from the GM Mills yet ?
Even if woody goes this team stink anyway. The oonly reason we have a shot is because our division is the worst in a long time. We would just get destroyed by the heat or pacers
ErThis is berman creating something. I remember when melo made his comments I thought he was criticizing his teammates. Berman interpeted it as melo criticizing woodson. Now he is referencing his interpetation and saying the team led by melo and tyson is ready to mutiny. I agree that tyson is critical of woodson.

Took the words out of my mouth
Players can blame Woody all the want, but they clearly don't bring effort every game. And I'm sorry but if you don't come to play on holiday games, on afternoon games, on home games, on games against rivals, on back to backs, then just retire already- you clearly don't care about basketball or have any pride.
Who knows what the hell is the policy on switching. Even when he was D'antoni's assistant we switched all the time. D'Antoni said they weren't meant to switch every time, but the did. Woody denies it's the policy, Tyson claims it is. Just pathetic.

Is this an actual article or a rant by a fan in response to an article? If it is gan article guys like beck and zwerling, respected journalists, have to be very embarassed.

It's just a rant by some bleacher report user that I thought was funny
This was known a while ago that Woody has lost the team and Dolan has lost a voice on the bench.
Herb the snitch might have to take over.

Playoffs???
18-6 team limped into the playoffs. Took everything they got into it. Baron knee crumbled as did Shumps. No guard play. Amare was returning and cut his hand.
54-28.......Again by seasons end our guard play was cooked. Amare was a shell of him self, Kidd was cooked, and JR lost his mind. First time in 14 years knicks won a series. You really think they had a chance against Indy? 54 wins WAS a good job. A very good job to coach those wins.
One can look at the roster and think the glass half full and be suprised they could amass 54 wins. One might say the coach did a hell of a job. Another can look at it and think we could have advanced at least one more round.
This year our guard play has not just declined, its bloody awful!
No doubt this team makes a coach look bad. Why? Personal.
Is it the coach? Not saying its not all on him, but dude coaches his ass off for two years and then this season and fans think a change will do good? Like, ANY CHANGE WILL DO GOOD? No mention of a replacement or install a new schematic but "woodson sucks" and thinking his removal alone is the magic.
Looks more like fans are emotionally distraught. I get that.

As head coach? It's a little better than Melo's is with us!
