Knicks · Will the Knicks front office ever do something.... (page 1)

JS3 @ 2/7/2014 3:25 PM
we are 2 weeks before the trade deadline, we are out of the playoffs picture(but still can obtain it).
when woody replaced we were 6-18, we are worst right now, Woody was just interim coach, he looked good because was horrible, yes, last year players played for him, but this year they are not...

since the day that Mills signed as a GM, we never heard from him nor Dolan, there was the Lowry talk and thats it.

my concern is that nothing will change, they gonna let this season go away, offer Melo max, and next year it will be the same, Woody, Amare, JR, Tyson, Barg... you get the picture.

some BR news told an hour ago, that Melo set with Dolan, this is the max contract probably, so, no Mills involved, and again Dolan interferes.
i just dont have any hope, of course that i want us to win, but Woody is driving me crazy, Felton i can't stand, Tyson is doing a favor that he plays, it's really tough when you have no hope for trades / staff changes, not even a god damn rumor.

Don't worry, CAA will fix everything
Bonn1997 @ 2/7/2014 3:38 PM
I think we could get 2 1st and 2 2nd round picks for Melo and 1 st and 1 2nd for Tyson. I'd love to let Bargs and Amare expire, and just move forward with a lotto talent in TH JR, those six picks plus a lotto pick in 2015, and max cap space. And have Dolan actually use his money to hire the best metrics experts.
They're probably going to just do everything possible to make a marginal upgrade and sneak into the 8th seed though.

gotta.dump.Felton. Denver was right to move him...and Portland. Now we are stuck with 3 years of this clown.
smackeddog @ 2/7/2014 4:20 PM
Mills is just a yes man, Dolan is our GM (sadly I'm not exaggerating)- we have no strategy or game plan.

I think youre right--I think Dolan is the GM. Also this post is dead -on. Every team has personnel from the GM that talk to the media about the state of the team from time to time--how about the Knicks? Nothing

exactly. I don't know how the heck we can get this together

CrushAlot @ 2/7/2014 5:18 PM
I really miss grunwald. His mid season moves were to bring in Kmart and flip brewer for a second round pick and a trade exception.

Somebody is in Dolan's ear, he himself doesn't know "Basketball" he's knows marketing entertainment.

Isiah still influences his basketball decisions.

Well atleast GM Dolan made a good decision to NOT give that 1st rd pick for Lowry so hes learning.

Yeah, but he dumped this .400 team on us. This is Grunwald's team right now.

I think everything is different if grunwald is still here. Woodson lost his safety net, his voice in regards to who made his team, who started and how many minutes guys could play. You couldn't sabotage a coach and team more than Dolan did.

2 weeks ago, and now it's 30 min and counting.

you only had one job to do...................SMH

final up

my worst fear come to reality, no moves, staying with Felton, staying with woodson, no hope for this season, apparently the organization is fine with where we are, really, don't know what to say.

Vmart @ 2/20/2014 3:22 PM
Don't sweat it.

I highly doubt any trade rumors was going to bring us a championship. or even a playoff victory. This team is beyond any last minute repairs. Might as well hold onto your assets, now that you have an idea what teams are interested and how much they are worth.

NYY1NYK2 @ 2/20/2014 3:26 PM
What assets?
we were gonna get a 2nd for beno, and another team beat us out
were gonna get a first for shumpert and declined it

we have no assets

and what next? you do trades to get better, you clear cap if you know that players will come and you have a plan, like 2010, how's that working for us?

I think the Knicks could get revisit the OKC deal on draft night. They are stuck with Felton though. Also, did melo approve moving felton?

You want to trade Shumpert for the 30th overall pick?
