He should walk
We didnt trade beno for anything............
We didnt trade shumpert..............
We just stood there while everyone made something happen
Sort of ironic that he forced his way here.
We could have had Mosgov, Chandler, Gallo, 2X First round picks, and some other guys I forgot as assets.
You reap what you Sow...

i really truly believe that Melo consulted the front office not to trade anybody and wait.
i love Melo, but don't trust him as he will opt out
2015 is the plan with or without Melo. I got to assume its with othersise we would've traded him by now

how can he force his way here, but not force a good trade? Did he lose his superpowers?

I just think there was nothing out there. What deal did we have that helps anyone but us? Teams arent lining up to help the Knicks...

Your the guy posting 2005 trades? uh oh!
He could have walked here, had almost the same money and probably had one hell of a team around him.
I hate to say it, but at this point this year and next are done, shot, finished. Our only chance
is 2015.
Oh, but the great news is we have our picks in 2015!

Yea can't wait to f'd that one up like we did with past lottery picks

he would have one hell of a team around him? What am I missing? Wilson Chandler walks because you need the cap space for Melo. In fact we might be WORSE if Melo walked here, because at least in that trade we got Billups who after being cut allowed us to get Tyson.
If that doesnt happen who is the center? Mosgov starts? Anthony Randolph? Gallo is always hurt. No Wilson Chandler, Ray Felton is still your guard... I mean it would be nice to have the picks in a year like this, I will give you that but that scenario doesnt look ANYTHING like "one hell of a team"

The other good news is Timmy Jr. is still here (I think).
Deep draft this year and we have no pick BUT we are probably going to suck again next year, so that pick will probably be high.
Then again, Timmy Jr. might really come on next year, never know, but I think we are sort of toast. Maybe Tyler comes on?
Büller? Büller?
THE PLAN
someone from the front office will share the idea about it? or we just need to guess it?
what if there is no plan, what if Mills just didn't accomplished to close any PG for now? and if there is some plan for 2015, it means that there is no watchable games for season and a half??? just freaking tell us, the fans, the one's that follow you 24-7, right now, we can't get better, and if this is the exact team with the exact same coach for the next season, what else can we expect? jezzz
I've been waiting 24/7 since 1999. I can wait another year or 2 as long as there is a plan and a real coach in place

we *almost* had it wit Walsh.. so close to having a real front office. Oh well...
The plan is resign Melo and beg the gods a good PG falls into their laps.
Also throwing poop at walls.

There's not, that is the sad thing, and people here saying it's a good thing that we didn't do anything to improve now, SMH

Melo wants to play here. You trade W. Chandler for a decent pick.
You hold Gallo as he fits nicely with Melo, trade later if need be.
Ray Felton - (I'm Screaming nooooooo)
Tyson doesn't seem to be helping us right now. Might have been better off, toss up there.
Anthony Randolph - pick
A probably lottery pick this year.
I just can't buy the argument that we would be better off not signing Melo as a FA.
We are 21-33 and out of the playoffs. If we make the playoffs we are going no where. We don't have a single pick this year.
And you are telling us we are better off

When a PG does fall into their Lap you saw they didn't know what to do with that.

So Darren Collison and Jordan Freaking Hamilton are what puts the Knicks over the top in the East? Better to stand pat than lose more "assets" (Shump is playing horrible but this would've undoubtedly been a sell low scenario) and still miss the playoffs. Do those guys even put us in the playoffs? The odds are long with them or with our current roster.

If we're lucky we get a lliard/rondo type with out lottery pick next year which we can't trade. Then add free agents in 2015 or 2016
But we will screw this up by adding overpaid malcontents and injury riddled players before then
