At the press Conference I want a few things addressed by the media to Jackson.

#1 Do you expect the Knicks to compete for a Championship under your current contract ?
#2 Did you sign a clause in your contract to not talk to the media about negotiations ?
#3 Does Carmelo have to stay in NY for you to compete for a Championship while under your contract.
#4 Did James Dolan give you full autonomy, what Pat Riley has in Miami ?
#5 Will you possibly coach the Knicks any time during your tenure as Basketball Operations guy.
#6 Will your new coach have to run the triangle offense in NY ?

"Phil is fantastic at managing egos and personalities, getting everyone on the same page and maxing out whatever potential is there for what should be the common and ultimate goal.

"Just because he's never been an executive before doesn't mean he can't do that. He's wanted to do it for a while now, and I know he can do it ... so long as he has the necessary pieces in place."

Just when woody thought his employment status couldn't get more awkward, now he's going to have to put up with endless questions on the triangle, whether Phil is telling him what to do, Phil's role in practice, will Phil take over coaching if we make the playoffs, etc etx

one thing that scares me with Jackson is, despite being a great coach. All his assistants or players under him have sucked at coaching.

Rambis and Hemblem were terrible as head coaches. Shaw has been underwhelming. Cartwright was terrible also. Did he ever have a player or coach under him that suceeded?

Because although they know his Z's and o's they don't have Phil's zen like qualities in dealing with stars. They don't command the same respect
