Dolan just proved he knew nothing about basketball , proves Isiah was telling him what to do.

I don't like this quote. Similar quote from Popcorn man.

here we go... Broussard.... really? what a lame question to ask.
misterearl @ 3/18/2014 11:47 AM
The contrast between Dolan's complete awkwardness/ discomfort and Phil's honesty is staggering
gunsnewing @ 3/18/2014 11:48 AM
They are speaking like this season is over. At least they are realistic
playa2 @ 3/18/2014 11:48 AM
Where is Isola ??????
TeamBall @ 3/18/2014 11:48 AM
Now I know why Dolan doesn't like to talk to the media
misterearl @ 3/18/2014 11:49 AM
Harvey Araton gets to the point on changing Melo's game
misterearl @ 3/18/2014 11:50 AM
Phil on Melo as bench player in Olympics, "Can play a role if he has to"

"biggest issue that I have is incorrect footwork"

"passing is very important"

Finally gives credit to someone else. Who is Irving Azoff?

Big time manager in music and the entertainment industry. Dolan kissing his ass. Phil's agent

Knicks22 @ 3/18/2014 11:52 AM

Politely, but firmly, Phil making clear that Melo's game has to change, and structure/system matters. great stuff.

lifelong manager of, among others, The Eagles...

exactly

Painful to watch. Even his attempt at humor was brutal. If he wants to interact with people, Dolan needs help.

Barry Watkins, who is in charge of the press conference, shook his head when I raised my hand to ask a question. Only picking media friends.
OasisBU @ 3/18/2014 11:54 AM
So who are the coaches on the radar?

We know Kerr is a possibility. Could Coach K be lured away from Duke? I doubt it but you never know.

misterearl @ 3/18/2014 11:54 AM
Somewhere, Red Holzman is smiling. Finally.

Does not matter. Phil is back.

Life am good.

You know, it would've been OK for him to drop the peace pipe for a few nights and watch a few games in order to get a jump on his new gig. Eh, whatever. It wouldn't have made a difference this season anyway.
