You know, it would've been OK for him to drop the peace pipe for a few nights and watch a few games in order to get a jump on his new gig. Eh, whatever. It wouldn't have made a difference this season anyway.
Great day. delighted. Phil's self-confidence clear. Structure matters, and unequivocal message that "my way or the highway" from star player not acceptable. Dolan deserves credit for recruiting this guy. Has hired Larry Brown, Isiah and Walsh, now Phil. Say what you want, he's tried. Great things ahead with Phil.....

WOW!!!! ONly way I see that is Lebron asks him. We know Lebron is a fan of Coach K. So is Kobe.
Riley in his tower plotting evil.

I think he more or less already know what he wants to do, who he wants to have stay, and who he will try and dump

and paid... I agree. He's such a tool but he has tried yes.
Yea that's why Phil garners so much respect from his star players. Straight shooter from DAY 1
looks like draft picks don't really matter.
The games vs the Nets from now on will be must see TV
DOLAN JUST ONE UPPED PROKAROV with signing Jackson.

Phil said he has been watching since Tyson went down. That was in December?
I must say that I was impressed with Phil today. Wasn't sure how motivated he'd be but you can tell he's really into this and the time off allowed him to recharge his batteries. You can tell he's gonna take a very comprehensive approach to building a culture here and getting every ounce out of the players we have. Dude doesn't have a loser mentality. You can see his attention to detail when it comes to BB.
I LOVE his team philosophy. All i've wanted was to see this franchise commit to TEAM BB and all this man talks about is TEAM BB. He's got the pedigree from Red Holzman and I can't wait to see this team move away from ISO ball and selfishness.

Hate to think thats what it takes.
No promise of a championship. Keeping it real.

The fact that he felt the need to reiterate that a couple of times shows that he knows that's a big problem with this team. That alone got me excited.

Big time manager in music and the entertainment industry. Dolan kissing his ass. Phil's agent
lifelong manager of, among others, The Eagles...
I can see Phil also being an Eagles fan/hippie. Thank you Hotel California!
