I wonder how deep the cleaning will be. He might decide to sacrifice some of the 2015 cap space to move some of the deadweight out.
I don't believe Jackson will take on some longer deals who would mess up our 2015 cap space. What he might do is move players on their last year like Tyson for another expiring contract to maybe audition them for a longer deal. I don't expect a lot next season, hoping that the moves Jackson makes send a signal that only team players will be welcome. Guys who will give maximum effort.
Phil needs to find solid role players next season and go for the big guns in 2015.
Atlanta loses again. Our playoff chances continue to do better on days we don't play.

this statement is sad but true. knicks to continue getting blown out the next few weeks to end the season. I don't think Jackson can fix this.

He isn't going to fix it next year but he has a five year deal. Hard to argue with all of his rings. He was hired after the trade deadline. His work starts once the season is over

Aw come on Hawks, put us out of our misery! You're attempt to tank will not succeed because we put in less effort when we're supposed to be trying to win, than any tanking team does.
Good grief. All we had to do for a guaranteed spot was not be awful.

LOL
The Hawks should want to be in the lottery like the Knicks are. Oh wait...
It's getting to be more and more like sniffing glue...

At least that gives you a buzz...
Hawks against the Sixers tonight- no way they lose that one. Knicks vs Jazz, we'll probably lose (it's asking this team too much to play one full game with effort, let alone 2 in a row!)

I think the hawks are definitely tanking

Hawks have 21-21 mark vs East, and have 10 gms left vs conference opponents. Knicks are 21-24 vs the East with 7 gms left in the conference.
come on, we can catch these guys... they're not even trying!

There's a big difference between the 10th pick and the 15th- if I were them, I'd tank- but I think we're going to make it impossible for them! Wouldn't be surprised if the nets let them win either...
