Mozgov 23 points and 29 rebounds. 3 blocks and 3 assists.
Can things get worse and more embarrassing for the Knicks?
Bonn1997@ 4/11/2014 1:31 AM
Bargs can do that too. Well, getting the 29 rebounds might take about 3 weeks though!

not sure why thats embarrassing for the knicks, unless he did it against us- we excel in allowing scrubs to become elite for one night!
He did however take months to recover from this:

i was at this game 12th row. let me tell you, every time the nuggets needed a rebound, mozzy was there. i remember looking up stats in the 2nd quarter and mozzy already had 13 rebounds by then!!
i mean bump chandler. this guy doesn't suffer from flu for 2 months of the season!
what an eff up by dolan for forcing donnie walsh's hand to include mozzie!
understand that GSW have a legit center in Bogut who is good at rebounding. sure they missed david lee, but jermaine o'neal of all people played well for them. kfaried didn't do much but mozzy moz looked like effin kevin love out there.
Nalod@ 4/11/2014 7:05 AM
Mozzy also benefiting from Karl gone and Mcgee injury.
Lets not lament too much on one game and exaggerate "what could have been"! Mozzy in todays NBA is a solid role player and maybe the new matrix for success going forward is having a very deep bench. Sure two stars, or three if you can get them works best but look at the Nets. Their season is not about Their big money guys like Deron, Bropez and JJ, but Blatch, Plumlee and Livingston!
Come playoff time you get everyone healthy they can come at you in waves.
We'll see if they can do this year.
As for Mozzy, I just recall most liked the kid and what a great find he was seemingly coming from nowhere! Whose to "Blame" for him? I think we had some good scouting to find him, keep him hidden and signing.
BRIGGS@ 4/11/2014 8:53 AM
It is possible if Mosgov is given 38 minutes a night and they stay with him--he may be considered a rather valuable asset that could be on par with melos value. BY HIMSELF. . We gave up way too much for Melo
jrodmc@ 4/11/2014 8:58 AM
Can we link this thread to the next great game Lin has, say around next Thanksgiving?
Hey! How's Landry Fields doing? Is Wheeeeelson putting up some great stats too? Is Gallo dunking yet during Rehab? What's up with Eddy Curry? Jerome James setting any records? Get me the latest on Channing Frye's 3 pct, Now!
Ariza! Ariza! Ariza!
Ell EEE EEE LEE! LEE! LEE! Everyone, sing it with me!
Why don't you creat an app that will alert us to every ex-Knick who has a great game, so we can all cry together!
gunsnewing@ 4/11/2014 9:04 AM
Mozgov was liked by Knicks fans. Unfortunately those same fans kick him on the way out as they do with Lin & Lee
jrodmc@ 4/11/2014 9:16 AM
Yeah, it's amazing how Knicks fans only seem to really care about players when they're on the Knicks. Imbeciles.

Big men take longer to develop and they need opportunity. You can see that with Mosgov he is now starting to get opportunity and he is producing nu7mbers that wouldve made our team into a championship contender. Right now we have Chandler's 8 points 7 rebounds that we should be able to get for 3mm not 14.

He can't do that when his team is playing for something, he's playing loose with no pressure already out of the playoffs.

Just like all of the Knicks players this year--we had little pressure--try to make the 8 seed by not losing more than 50 games!

If he can play 38 minutes when games count without fouling out, call me.

i ALWAYS liked moz... just would like to see big games more consistently, he has the ability... maybe not the confidence... but that was a monster game.. Damn..
And yes, things can get worse... just wait over the next week or two to watch things unfold..

38 min? He'd average at least 15 and 10

Why do fans feel the need to do that?
Is it possible to be honest instead of emotionally irrational?
Knixkik@ 4/11/2014 10:38 AM
Regardless of what he does, i doubt Denver will keep him. They will let him go when he becomes a free agent because a team like...i don't know...us will give him a big contract. He's a 3-4 year rental for a lottery team that shows flashes from time to time. Nothing concerning.
