The situation that would make me angry the most is if Melo goes to the Bulls without wanting us to get good compensation. Not only would we have given up the farm to get him we would then be left with nothing when he left.

Not sure who tweeted it but the Knicks are saying they won't accept boozer in a sign and trade. I think that could be a deal breaker for the bulls.

Rumor of Greg Monroe in a S&T to NO for Ryan Anderson and other pieces. STV as Pres will look to build around Drummond similar to what he had with Howard in Orlando.
I say nay on Brand. Meeks is a good fit for Detroit, but I'm surprised he got $6.3 per. I'm surprised NOH would want Monroe. Do they plan to start a Brow, Asik, Monroe front line?
We should probably look at Monroe?
Might have to give THJ and Barg's expiring to get it done. That still probably isn't enough.

I read that too. Could be for real, it also could be a warning that Chicago better come with a good offer on top of Boozer if they want knicks to participate. I have no problem with Chicago getting him so long as they pay a decent value for him. I'd want Mcdormet and the Euro they got stashed with Booze.

Saw it on the ESPN crawl just now. Also said that the Bulls have not approached the Knicks about any deal. If Melo wants the max I hope he plays somewhere else. Wouldn't fault him for taking it, but Id rather we start again from scratch.
Pacers and Stephenson are at an impasse. Pacers offered 44 mil.

I think te Bulls know that they will have to give up godo assets. They probably just threw Boozer out there just in case phil would bite but they know that in the end they have to give up something to get something. I mean lets face it the way the Bulls kissed Melo's ass yesterday shows that they will give up plenty to get him

If Melo is definitely headed out the door then I hope Phil can exploit their desperation.
Heard that even Pippen was at the presentation.

I gotta say all that fawning over melo makes me cringe. I wouldnt mind having him back(at a discount of course) but im glad Phil would never kiss his rear like the bulls have. I man a player like lebron or durant i would understand

The Bulls are already a strong team without Melo if Rose holds up. Adding Melo would make them very dangerous and capable of dethroning the Heat in the east if Melo embraces their philosophy. I understand why they are pulling out all the stops to get him and I would do the same thing.
Brian Windhorst pointed out that no players came to greet LeBron when he was making his "decision". They learned their lesson and this time they aren't taking any chances. Smart move when Melo could be the piece that puts them over the top before Rose and Noah are beyond repair.

Interesting that rose didnt go to dinner with melo and the others from the bulls organization.

Rose wouldn't go to dinner or entertain LeBron either. As I said in another thread, he was probably pressured to do this workout to show Melo that he isn't damaged goods.
