why would he need leverage with the knicks?

i mean he is not in a position to get max money.

I am not sure about anything, who is.

I hope that I am wrong though since it would make me sad.

I think max is on the table. If Melo is going to take a lesser amount of money why would he do it in NY rather than the Bulls. I would love for him to take less money and stay but that is unrealistic. The only thing keeping us in the conversation with the bulls is money. If we take that away I think it is obvious that the choice is easily to go to the Bulls.

The bulls can only offer about 75 million. If the knicks give him 90-100 then everybody wins.

Nalod @ 7/11/2014 3:41 PM
Mirotic is not a bull and would have to agree to sign with NY.

I think some of you are hoping for more in return from Melo.
Whats scarey is Rockets can take Melo. I know we read Bosh has been offered it, but things can happen. Not saying it will, saying it could.
Media portraying Melo as taking money if he goes with knicks has to be playing with his head.

Is that 75 mil with them trading Taj? or is that without? So many Cap numbers have been thrown around that they are all a blur to me right now.

I think without though they can't really contend without him.

Cant make Melo the victim. I mean he wanted this whole free agent tour and he was the one who said publicly he would take less.
