Would be a good move for the lakers- like Ariza, Boozer is very good in contract years!

118 Million little green reasons. He took a discount when his value was highest, he has two titles, now he wants his money.

ha ha i guess two titles is enough. so much for competitive fire. now what about melo? no titles-- chicago or houston? bothe are closer to title contention than the nix.

Will the Bulls turn to Wade instead of Melo?

Yeah, that's a disastrous contract

How about Melo joining Bosh and Wade in chicago

Bosh?? Chicago?? - having a hard time keeping up?

RonRon @ 7/11/2014 9:54 PM
With Houston, they now have a MAX salary and a NO STATE tax, with the addition to team up with

Harden
Parsons
Melo
D12

Beverly
Terrence Jones

and

some young guns

At the least, this could be the legit threat to force NYK to reconsider a sign a trade as leverage to lose him for nothing
So CA can force a trade to a team of his preffered choice

Knicksfan @ 7/11/2014 9:56 PM
I don't want Harden in NYK.
meloshouldgo @ 7/11/2014 10:08 PM
U would only want Parsons and T. Jones or picks

Melo is not going to Houston .. Wife and kid won't allow it it's chitown or NYC and I think NYC is leading the way

Papabear Says

When Melo comes back to the Knicks I will be a fan but it won't be the same. He allow us to be fleeced by Denver and he didn't say a word. If we didn't do the deal he would have went to the Nets. I am starting to feel that Melo has no personal feelings towards New york. I just wouldn't feel right if the things that I am hearing are true. I will give him the benefit of doubt. But if he is trying to leave we need to get the same package as we gave up to get him and if we don't just let him walk and let him know he screwed us. he will have to explain to the press and every one else. When he goes to Denver they will hate him and when comes to New York they will hate him. My thing is how much better is Melo over Deng?

Yeah, all this procrastinating has definitely soured me on him- even if he does return it will just seem like he only did that because all his other plans fell through. If it takes you over 8 days to accept the most money in your home town, you obviously don't really want to be there, no matter how much you say you are 'agonising' over the decision.

Wade has 3 rings.

They could still make the playoffs if they add the right mix... They aren't completely dead yet

Sounds like the lakers considered taking Amare for PAu before all their cap space was used up. Kupchek appears to be getting ready for Durante and 2016. The lakers should have cap space and assets to be players then.
