Oops meant .01 more than Bosh.

What? They're in some kind of personal competition?

I wish these same people could give that same support in my quest for a raise at my job

Melo's a robot that just does whatever Bosh does!

Unfortunately, they are in some ways, and added to this is all the stuff they would here on social media about it.
From Broussard:
I'm told Melo will not take the full $129 million from the Knicks. Don't have exact figures but it's north of $122 million
As good as being a Max deal as far as cap space and maneuverability.
Anthony can say he did not take a full Max deal... Phil can say he negotiated and got Anthony to come down.
Bosh might have truly been the pace setter, here.

I guess im old school but the only competition should be on the court. I mean Melo can build a mansion out of 100 dollar bills so taking 100-110 million wouldnt have hurt him at all besides his ego i guess

Nope... folks will hammer people fighting for a higher minimum wage, or unions trying to look out for their people. Execs can $20M severance packages after getting pushed out for hurting a company's profits, but most people can't get a decent pension or make enough to retire on.
...but I digress.
Have they anounced that Melo will be having surgery on both shoulders yet?
I guess we got to wait for the details of the contract first entailing a no trade claus
I'm glad that Melo resigned here I just wish the Melo who commented on taking less money to win in February was the Melo that signed here instead of the one who did for about $124mm. This is now on Phil, who just made his job a lot harder by offering the deal and Melo, who now will have the below comments repeated to him by the NY media for the next 5 years if there are no titles in our future.
These guys both just painted HUGE targets on their backs.

Phil supposedly had 5 contract scenarios for Melo. I'd love to know what the other 4 were.

I don't think Melo can read. I'm pretty sure he took the one with the higher dollar amount. Everyone understands Dollar signs($$$$$$$)
We'll see what Phil does with whatever Melo leaves on the table. Not going to know until that part of the contract goes into effect. Too early to say if it helps or not.

Yep he can act like he is a savior and a "Team Player" . I don want to hear this guy open his mouth once about not having the right pieces around him as he sucks away 40% of the cap.
Ah, awaiting the "i didn't take the max money.. it's not about the money" from the Melo spin machine (Stephan A Smith a charter member)......
Joke of a contract offer. One-tool player, who has consistently demanded the NYK sabatoge their ability to build a winner to meet his needs, and, who has absolutely ignored any system (MDA's... Amare's PNR... Linsanity) which threatens ISO-Ball.
Had so hoped this franchise would go in a different direction. Do they learn nothing from excessive contracts to the wrong players? The Houston contract was an albatross for years, then Amare's, and know this foolish, foolish contract.
This guy is only about personal stats, and money. Latter is fine, excpet league today makes it very clear (See Lebron) that a max contract kills a team. Most offensive part of this will be hearing his media pals (SAS, Broussard) spn this as his desire for winning, and buying into Phil's system.
I guess Phil got his guy to build around at the price he was comfortable to give.

LOL, why so much bitching, Phil got his man....
Im beyond exited for this Phil era. I pray to God Melo's contract doesn't ruin it for me. I will switch teams this time and become a Hornet fan
