What did we have in last night's game against the Celts...128 turnovers? I'd be happy if next game we cut that down to 98. Sloppy play on offense, sloppy play on defense, brick after brick, turnover after turnover....we are looking at being the worst team in NBA history. I say we win three games this year.
After last night's horrifying pre-season game against the Celts, these guys should immediately be cut:
- Bargnani
- JR Smith
- Melo
- Barry Larkin's kid
- Calderon
- Coach Fisher
On the upside, these guys were outstanding and will one day have their jersey hanging from the Garden rafters:
- Travis Wear
- Hardaway Jr.
- Dalembert
- Acy
- Amar'e
We got our butts kicked last night by Kelly Olynyk! That team didn't even have Rondo! Sullinger weighed three hundred pounds and blew right by our defense like he was Usain Bolt! That team beat us by 20 points!
We are looking at being the worst team in the NBA.
Bring back Ronny Turiaf and Chris Copeland!
Trade everyone on the team for Lance Stephenson right now!!!!!!!

Thats about the only thing that would make me excited about this team again. If they are going to continue with the patch work they won't have my interest until 2020-2025 or whenever Dolan steps down

Personally im not expecting anything. I want to see a new culture established with the remaining players after the purge at the trade deadline. Then I want to see upgrade the talent level with our lottery pick and smart/un-panicky free agent acquisitions. Doubt fans will be patient but hopefully Dolan truly does get out of the way

Phil has been around teams for so long, he's like a basketball savant. He has to know that a team consisting of Amare, Bargnani, Calderon & JR Smith can't defend enough to win. It's a process. I am willing to give it time but not sure the general fan base will. I hope the overriding pressure from Dolan doesn't rear its ugly face and he is truly out of the picture. I hope he lets Phil & Derek do their jobs
